Though it pains me to speak of such a delicate matter, and my spirit is much burdened by this confession, I find myself in a rather impecunious state, brought about by a most unforeseen and adverse turn of events. This great misfortune has not only stripped me of my humble worldly possessions but has, alas, left my purse utterly bereft of even the smallest coin, and, I fear, reduced me to a condition of true destitution with no immediate prospect of relief in sight.
