Tired of playing golf games with friends and being upset at each other?

Well too bad, get orbital lasered!

Super Battle Golf is a hectic joyride. The golf gameplay is simple and effective, and everything is built to screw over your friends. Homing shots, guns and bombs, golf carts and more - each system builds on everything else to create a nuanced competitive multiplayer experience.

The visuals are vibrant and expressive. I love the avatars in this game, they have just the right proportions and just the right customization options to make them instantly adorable while still functional in gameplay.

Super Battle Golf could benefit from more maps and steam workshop support. My group went through every map over the course of a couple hours, and, though we haven't replayed any yet, the maps are a little too simple to remain interesting in repeat playthroughs. There's only so much the (admittedly incredible) item system can support, and more map variety would help in that. If this game receives content updates in the future, I would hope this is the most immediate focus. It's not a deal breaker, but it would certainly help.

Super Battle Golf is well worth its price. Get a group of friends together and go crazy! You'll only regret the friendships you thought you had.

Feels like it should be an early access game, but OH IS IT FUN!?!? The magic system is extremely responsive (sometimes a little too much) and is fun to play around with. There's enough variety and utility to make anything fun, and the voice activation allows for easy and quick casting. Compared to other voice-activated games, this one "UP DOGs" far beyond.

A good time was had by all, though a few updates wouldn't hurt the game's replayability. Every castle feels the same, it would be nice to have more room variety. Perhaps a few more different wizardy places could be nice? Also, there were times I couldn't see what I was looking at in the darkness, though I understand that is to incentivize the light spell. Chaos energy was way too easy to come by, at least in the early stages, leading my group to feel like the quota increases didn't really matter. The game could use a little fine-tuning and a good chunk of new content.

The few enemies were scary and well designed, as were the few puzzles the game has to offer. I didn't know how to counter the enemies beyond running away, though it felt like there should be some way to do so. Gold was scarce, but it always felt like we were getting just enough to buy new wands and expand out toolkits.

Yapyap has a lot of good potential and the bones to carry a lot of stuff. It's worth the price, though I would say it is *only* worth that much, right now. Hopefully the devs keep tinkering with the game, I would love to see where it goes!

I make-a the art-a, and it looks-a cool-a. that's-a it-a.

Really, this is the best pixel art program out there. The price is more than worth the value of the product.

A genuinely beautiful story that makes you want to scream into the ether. A soundtrack built by angels who went on vacation in the underworld and learned every possible human emotion. A visual flair that no amount of funding or time should have allowed an indie team to come anywhere near the level of. Gameplay that is simple to learn yet painfully difficult to master.

I suck at this game. And I cannot recommend it enough.

I was part of the community when Silksong was announced. I was there for every silent day. 7 years I waited. 7 years.

Silksong was more than worth the wait. I never thought I'd actually be able to say that, but that is my genuine, unfiltered belief.

Never before or since have I played a game that gripped me quite like Hollow Knight. The world is full of charm and plenty of secrets to discover, the gameplay feels amazing and constantly builds on top of itself, the art is beautiful and clear, and the soundtrack is one of the greatest ever composed. Even beyond all of that, the game still manages to exceed my expectations every time I replay it. Hollow Knight is one of the only games I have played to render me speechless multiple times throughout my experience. You are doing yourself a disservice - nay, you are actively ruining yourself - if you do not at least give this game a chance. I promise, you will not regret it.

This is one of those games that makes you want more, and I mean that in the best way possible! Every puzzle is so well-crafted, the world is rich with different cultures and beliefs, and the message of this game is one that will hit you where it needs to. If you like languages and anthropology in the slightest, this game will be a potent drug. Please play it!

They made a game to go along with my favorite album of all time! And it's pretty fun, too!

If you're a fighting-game player looking for gameplay styles, Guilty Gear Strive has a character for you. If you're a character enjoyer looking for a story or aesthetic to vibe with, Guilty Gear Strive has a character for you. IF YOU LIKE MUSIC... idk, I don't think this game has any. Probably.

I got my friends addicted. That's enough of a recommendation, I think.

Cassette Beasts was made by taking Pokemon's adorable creature collecting and Rock Paper Scissors battle system, whipping it together with Persona's characterization and banger OST, and then leaving it to simmer in 5 gallons of 80s aesthetic for 20 hours on HIGH. This game is an absolute gem, and you're missing out BIG TIME if you don't purchase it right away. Genuinely one of my new favorite games.
