Even though I didn't (and still don't) fully understand the story or its meanings the gameplay, soundtrack, stylization, character design, and funnily enough the up for interpretation story all blend together to create an amazing survival horror experience.
I went into this game after watching a Signalis video essay long ago that I forgot (because I had it on as background noise) and later on remembered seeing it and couldn't help but be curious enough to try it out for myself to which I was pleasantly surprised by such an oppressive game. Definitely recommend for fans of survival horror or somebody wanting to get into the genre.

One of the best games of all time and a personal favorite of mine. A myriad of interesting weapons, bosses, npcs, landscapes, and more that all add to its practically endless amounts of replayability. The art style is eye catching and simple but allows the mind to run wild with its own concepts on how things look. The combat is fun, enticing, and allows multiple ways to play.

One of the best FPS games I've ever played. From the rather simplistic story to the visuals and audio alike everything just feels right. Even the visual storytelling is amazing so remember to just stop and take a look around every once in a while! The music was pure ear candy and mixed with the beautiful environments it made for an experience like no other. The gun play feels great as well and it never feels like its unfair; there's also many creative ways and problem solvers that are fun to play around with as well. I cannot recommend this enough! (I did get this on sale, but on sale or not its worth every penny.)

This is my favorite game of all time, it has a compelling yet simple and easy to understand story with a puzzle piece esc progression where everything comes together in the end. The characters are lovable and each have their own unique personalities that all fit together. The gameplay is simple and easy to understand and the atmosphere around the entire game is amazing and the pacing is well done. It also represents depression and fears and how to overcome it amazingly. Overall 11/10 game would recommend.

Great for messing around in and taking out anger.
