Played since 2013 and still can't get tired of this game. Infinite replayability, various subclasses to play as and master, and different gamemodes (Casual, MvM, Comp, Community) keep the experience fresh and fun each time you play

Plays a lot like TF2 with class-based objective-oriented gameplay. Teamwork is about as emphasised as it can get; a team without ammo packs, health packs, defibs and preferably a healing station is likely to get steamrolled over by a team who does. Besides supportive abilities as such, different classes can also bring about different offensive abilities:
  • Want to call in an airstrike? Skyhammer got your back.
  • Need artillery shells on an area? Arty is the man.
  • Needa sentry here? Call in Bushwhacker.
  • Wanna lay down some stickybombs or proximity mines? You can count on Fletcher or Proxy.
  • Good at grenade launchers? Love using a minigun? This is the game for you.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and #PlayDirty. ;)

The first impression that SpaceChem imposes on it's audience is one of boredom. Complex gameplay mechanics, insufficient instructions and a non-illustrated storyline (which looked like it attained quite some inspiration from a generic fanfic) is enough to bore even the most patient gamer. But behind all that, you can leave your fast-paced FPSes behind and take SpaceChem with an open mind, it's actually a rather interesting game once you scrape the surface and get to the inner layers. To be fair, I still don't quite get some of the in-game mechanics, and I'm starting to struggle on the second planet, but that's the purpose of a puzzle game. If a puzzle game is simple, it's not a puzzle game; it's a test to check your sanity.
But anyways, this game may seem uninteresting and even dreadful at times, but it's honestly a well-thought out puzzle game that simply doesn't have enough shine on its surface to keep players on the game for more than 10 minutes. If you can dig past that dull surface and get into the heart of the game where the creative thinking comes alive, this game is certainly worth the time and effort.
