The game clearly advertises that you can be creative with your vehicle, but how can I be creative when there's hard limits on what I can and can't do?
(It also doesn't matter what you build, a flight of stairs on wheels with guns all over it will always be better than whatever you made.)

This is the type of sandbox game where you can make literally anything you think of. The sky is the limit, and there are probably mods that allow you to go beyond that.

I'll admit, this game has updated slower than I would've liked. With that being said, I still really enjoy playing this from time to time. It's the type of game where I go in looking to build either a giant aircraft capable of beating every stage in the game, or a dumb car that flips over too easily but has a dozen cannons attached. Usually it's the latter.

I beat this game over 4 years ago after about 9 hours, but I've returned to it quite a lot since then because it's just a lot of fun to play. Ridiculously difficult to newer players, but enjoyable (and dare I say relaxing?) for people familiar with the patterns and stuff.
Also the music is killer. Chipzel, yo.

There's some absolute galaxy brains out there who can build rockets that go to every planet in the game's system. I am not one of those galaxy brains.
The game is still a lot of fun, even if my way of playing is "build, launch, everything explodes, try again." I hope to get better at it. Some day.

Good, until it crashes.

I got this game a while ago and still occasionally return to it just to make a new company. The early/mid-game is probably the best part, and even though it starts getting a little dull by the end, it's still interesting enough to stay invested in whatever dumb company name I came up with (RIP Toaster Games Ltd.). It's a fun one.

I love this game, I still recommend it, but the RNG is pretty bad. Aside from oh-my-god-why-is-this-ship-in-sector-3 moments, the individual bad RNG moments aren't that bad, but the sheer number of them is almost always too much to deal with. Plus it's almost always things that are out of your control (dodging missiles, finding stores, not getting a nebula, etc.). Like I said, I still recommend it. It's fun as he(ck), but I'd also recommend playing almost exclusively on Easy.

Team Fortress 2 is not a perfect game by any means, but it's probably the most memorable game I've ever played.
I can't tell if it's a combination of the character designs, gameplay, bread items, or all three of those combined.
It's THE free-to-play game. There's no reason to not pick it up and give it a try. It's a bit rough when first starting out, but once you get the hang of it you'll have a great time.
Except on Turbine I swear that map is meant to give you a headache.

I had more fun messing around in the sandbox mode, but if you want a good survival/crafting experience in space (sometimes), I'd definitely recommend this one.
