I used to be a really big fan of Sonic, then just kinda shrugged it off and moved on. However, finding this game just chillin' in my steam collection honestly got me back into this great franchise. All the play styles are balanced, never being too slow. Sonic and Shadow's speed stages are fast-paced and nice to breeze through if you're bored, Tails and Eggman's mech stages are filled with robots and other enemies in your path, while it's your job to blow right through them. Despite how it sounds, it's still fast paced in it's own way! Lastly, are the stages where you search for things, usually Master Emerald shards, as Rouge or Knuckles. I personally don't like these, but it's really only because I suck at them. They're still quite fast paced at times, emphasis on at times. (I'm lookin' at you Aquatic Mine.) But lastly, the Chao Garden, oh God the Chao Garden. I poured way too much time into this thing. I vividly remember raising a Chao that looks specifically like Shadow, if I could name him something other than a randomly selected option from a line of pre-determined names, I'd call him EdgeLord. But overall, this game is absolutely amazing. If you have a few bucks to spare, and want hours of fun, I'd say this is one of your best bets.
