Early Access Review
It's a great game, really fun once the rules get explained.

There's still some mechanics that aren't very clear, you need to look to the community to get info on things like Stealth.

I only have 50 hours in, which is quite a lot, but I've barely touched the surface of the Menace faction, and I'd rather wait to gain more from fighting them, as my only 2 operations are Menace ones.

So you could easily get 30+ hours into this before you really get into the Menace stuff, I just kept going until I had just the Menace mission to do.

Definitely farm the Aliens for barter goods, farm the Pirates for XP, farm the Rogue Army for great gear and vehicles, and finally the Menace are going to drop gear for researching in a later patch, so hold onto that gear, but I'm gonna wait on updates.

Had funny issues second day, couldn't connect to the servers for like 10-15 mins, finally gave up and hit ALT+F4 at the 'press any button screen' and it ignored the intended input, and just instantly went through to the main menu...

Actually got a laugh out of me there.

Game is pretty good, played the beta a while, was hoping for more content t launch but based on how there's extra content mentioned at specific dates for the Blood Pass, expecting much more coming.

So, coming from someone who lived the launch of Helldivers 2, with server problems galore, I'm kind used to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers in modern gaming, especially since so many rely on Amazon or other poor quality providers for their servers.

Native FOV options, that's it, 59 is incredibly low, and below the standard 90 by FAR, 59 is the Reliant Robin of FOVs.

I shouldn't have to edit files and re-pak things, to change the FOV, of course this is a demo, but also FOV is the most basic accessibility setting out there, not having FOV settings is INSANE.

It's like if there wasn't settings for resolution.

It's that basic and integral.

It would also be nice to have a separate option for player model FOV, you know, the hands and guns, how big/small, near/far they are from the 'screen'. I like a standard FOV of 90, and a weapon/player view model FOV of around 110-120, I hate how close the sights are to the 'screen' when aiming, they take up WAY too much space, I should be able to see some of the stock of the weapon when aiming.

It's good, got like 8-12 more hours out of this game with this. Definitely more dense than the first half. The first half had more still parts throughout it felt like, but this isn't a bad thing, just different.

It's bad. don't buy this.

.
.
Took me around 6 hours to get it to run from all the bugs.
.
Have to use a config file to make the engine function right, the only good map design is actually old maps from BF3, new map layouts are just unfun, and have virtually nothing destructible.
.
Basically no real destruction, most things cannot be destroyed, sheet metal buildings copy pasted from BC2 have no destruction, and stop AP infantry and vehicle bullets, not even levelution? That half arsed mess? It was at least cool the first time you see it...
.
Rather than have recoil, the weapons have bloom, like Fallout 3, but no skill to improve so it becomes fun.
.
Shoot someone 10 times, nothing, they shoot you 4 times, die.
.
I've wasted my money.
.
I should have spent it on a better game.
.
The campaign is insultingly stupid, and enragingly on-rails.
.
Vehicles have ammo pools for some reason, the MGs on vehicles or emplaced overheat like it's FarCry, too damn soon, the grenade MG is not an MG, but limited to a few shots per burst, not an overheat, a burst...
.
Whoever made this ♥♥♥♥, hates you, hates fun, hates battlefield, and should be fired for sabotaging the game.
.
I have to believe that these things are active sabotage from competitor companies.
.
That some CoD cultists got hired.
.
It's not even that the bloom is broken, it shouldn't be here, actual recoil, not 2008 bloom, WTF, who thought this was a good idea?
.
Netcode is broken.
.
All the changes from the beta to tone down the movement, missing.
.
What happened?!
.
The beta worked, it WORKED.
.
You just happened to push an update that ruined gunplay? In your FPS? You know the genre where the main interaction with the world the player has is with the GUNS?!
.
I'm sat here going into e depressive episode cause of how bad this is even just compared to the damn beta.
.
Maybe I need to be on benzos or something to enjoy this mess.
.
Worse than 2042. Seriously.
.
What is with this obsession with removing all the destruction from the BATTLEFIELD games?!
.
Oh, that whole spotting thing, where Recons would have a hollow diamond for spotting, that only they or their squad would see? Gone! Now you see an enemy, and just as your bullet passes through their skull, kill stolen. I don't want this! I want to play the game, not sit at the back spotting for others, I want to shoot enemies in the, I dunno, SHOOTER GAME?!
.
I fell for the fake reviews the hype streamers, bunch of liars, I fell for the paid reviews. The beta... It was GOOD. WHAT HAPPENED?!
.
.

DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. MONEY. ON. THIS.

It's affordable, it's good, it's only getting better as it's developed.

It's overall a good game, the price is good, the gameplay is good, had some stability issues towards the end game, going from 120-140 fps to 30-50 fps.

A nice remaster.

One niggle would be that opening and then closing the map does not swap back to the aiming mouse, but stay the UI/UX cursor mouse, which was annoying a quite few times, and the cause of a few deaths, using M to open the map and having to remember to use TAB not M to close it was weird.

Early Access Review
Pretty good, it's still fairly early access, didn't run into bugs, but locales need polish and the storyline/missions are still lacking, but present, overall, it is an actual beta, not an alpha pretending to be a beta, or a full release that's actually closer to an alpha.

Worth a look, kinda a STALKER-like, so far I've >31 hours in, and have run out of easily accessible content, there's artifacts and weapons I've yet to see, but have run out of missions and areas to explore.
There's no solid wiki at the moment, there was one for a few versions ago, before it went into Steam early access, that is supposed to migrate hosts and get updated.

Stashes are NOT shared, each one is its own thing. Fast travel is facilitated by artifacts that use Eather, a fuel for energy weapons and some artifacts. (Not sure if I missed it before, but there's an option for 'global' stashes in world creation)

There's disposable Eather cells that hold 300 Eather, and a reusable cell that can hold 1000, an artifact usually uses 100 per use, but there's supposed to be power armour that uses Eather, and there ARE energy weapons that use Eather, both should use less. There's Eather siphons around, flashing red light and big propane style gas balloon/tank, they are free to use, and fully fill a 1000E tank.

My favourite artifact, apart from the teleport ones, is a reusable grenade, it creates a small singularity/black hole on impact, and then drops to the ground to be picked up, very fun, and saves a LOT of weight from carrying 'normal' grenades.
