Hades II is an incredible evolution of the original. Combat feels smoother, the new magic system adds real depth, and Melinoë is a fantastic protagonist with her own identity and charm. The world is gorgeous, the music is amazing, and every run feels rewarding. If you loved the first game, this one raises the bar in every way. Highly recommended.

I was immediately drawn to Ghost Town because I loved the VR entry in Fireproof Games’ The Room series—its tactile puzzles and immersive atmosphere had me hooked, so I jumped into their third VR title without hesitation.

What I enjoyed most was its pervasive sense of the occult. Every chamber feels steeped in hidden lore, from the softly glowing runes etched into walls to the subtle echoes of distant incantations. The VR interactions, twisting ornate dials, sliding concealed panels, and coaxing arcane contraptions to life, are as satisfying and precise as ever, making each puzzle a delight to manipulate.

Edith Penrose’s personal quest to find her missing brother adds genuine emotional weight, and I appreciated how every challenge ties back into the story. The sound design and environmental detail work in concert to keep you fully engaged, whether you’re deciphering cryptic inscriptions or unraveling the next ingenious mechanism.

My only reservation is its length: at around four hours, the experience wraps up just as you’re settling into its rhythm, and the $29.99 price tag can feel a touch high for that runtime. That said, the passion and craftsmanship evident in every handcrafted environment and clever puzzle more than justify the cost—I could feel Fireproof’s dedication in every moment.

For fans of The Room series and anyone who savors finely tuned VR puzzle‑adventures, Ghost Town is well worth your time. Its compact size belies the depth of its atmosphere and design, and I can’t wait to see what Fireproof Games dreams up next.

Review courtesy of Chat-GPT as I couldn't of said it better:

Baldur's Gate 3 has arrived, and it's not just a game; it's a triumphant continuation of a legendary legacy. As a die-hard fan of the classic RPG genre and a devoted follower of the Baldur's Gate series, I can confidently say that Larian Studios has once again worked their magic to craft a masterpiece that seamlessly bridges the gap between the old and the new.

Drawing inspiration from its iconic predecessors, Baldur's Gate 3 pays homage to its roots while boldly embracing modern gameplay mechanics and breathtaking visuals that leave players in awe. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the lush landscapes to the intricately designed character models. It's clear that every pixel has been carefully thought out, evoking a sense of wonder with every step into the beautifully realized world.

What truly sets Baldur's Gate 3 apart is its captivating narrative and character development. The studio has masterfully captured the essence of the classic RPG experience, bringing back that nostalgic feeling of being immersed in a rich, dynamic story where choices matter. The complex characters you encounter aren't just NPCs; they're companions who grow, change, and evolve alongside you. Your decisions ripple through the game, shaping not only your own fate but the fate of the world around you.

Combat, a cornerstone of the RPG genre, is a symphony of strategy and skill. Baldur's Gate 3 delivers exhilarating battles that seamlessly blend turn-based tactics with real-time action. The result is a thrilling experience that keeps you on your toes, requiring both wit and reflexes to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.

The depth of customization in Baldur's Gate 3 is simply astounding. Whether you're crafting your character's appearance, tailoring their skills to suit your playstyle, or making pivotal choices that mold the outcome of your adventure, the game ensures that you're in control of your destiny. It's a testament to the developers' dedication to providing players with a truly personalized experience.

But perhaps one of the most impressive feats of Baldur's Gate 3 is its ability to capture the spirit of exploration. The vast, interconnected world begs to be discovered, with secrets hidden around every corner, inviting players to embark on a journey of endless discovery.

In conclusion, Baldur's Gate 3 is more than a game; it's a love letter to classic RPG enthusiasts and a testament to the power of storytelling in gaming. Larian Studios has brilliantly revived the essence of Baldur's Gate 2 and 1 while infusing it with the innovation of the present day. If you're a fan of rich narratives, strategic combat, and boundless exploration, then Baldur's Gate 3 is an absolute must-play that will undoubtedly etch itself into the annals of gaming history. Prepare to be enthralled, enchanted, and utterly captivated by this modern classic.

I love the Elder Scrolls Series and I would also love to like this game as well. However, I can't because my steam account is tied to someone else's ESO account and Bethesda won't help me un-link their god-forsaken account from mine. So until that happens I guess this is one of the games I will never end up being able to play even though I own it.

EDIT:
I wanted to leave an update about the situation. I am finally able to get access to my steam copy of ESO again. It took me tracking down who had signed into my account. I'm not going to lie about it. It ended up being my idiot brother who didn't dare to say he messed up and linked my account to his ESO account by accident. But regardless, I had him contact Bethesda to make a ticket to un-link my Steam account from his ESO account.

The fact that it took me having to track the person down who did it is honestly stupid. Yes, it made fixing the situation easier, but it doesn't help the fact that Bethesda said they were not going to help with the issue unless the person who did it contacted them. Which is honestly stupid because I can prove I own the steam account and the fact I bought the game. To add insult to injury, any DLC I purchased was registered to his account and I have no way to access that content now without purchasing the DLC again.

So TLDR is If you buy a game that registers a game license to an account like ESO. Sign into the game at least once to make sure this doesn't happen to you. I now need to re-purchase any dlc I had bought that I don't have access to anymore. As for the review, I plan to leave it with a thumbs-down. Not because the game is bad, but because their customer service sucks when they are not willing to try to help.

Its great and makes improvements where its predecessor had faults! If there was only one thing missing from the game that i could think of would be the ability to slide and shoot after running. ;D I give this game so far 10/10 till i find something i dont like :P
