Hands down one of the best coop games i've ever played. Great voice acting, story, adventure, and challenging enough to keep you busy till the end.

This is by far the best VR game and experience to date across the board. This is what you call a masterpiece and sets the bar for gaming companies to reach for the next decade. The passion they put into this game is thrown at you in full force. It's from people who care what content you experience every moment you are playing. I was Excited, happy, sad, scared, frustrated, and even laughed out loud while playing the game. Some parts I got stuck at for like 20 minutes because my dumbass didn't see the clue right in front of me, but would I want to forget that experience? Not at all! It was worth the suffering of realizing how dumb you are after you figure it out lol.

Alot of games like Talos Principle and Boneworks got me taking breaks from motion fatigue and nausea, but this game...Alyx does it so well that it seems second nature for me to play with no issues or feelings of nausea. The game has a mix of puzzle solving, horror, action, adventure, and nostalgia that needed to be filled since HL2.

So if you are holding back because of the 59.99 price tag, don't. You are not going to be dissapointed. You're paying for one of the true AAA titles out there in line with Mario, Final Fantasy, Call of Duty and what made them famous. This was a life changing game that should set the bar of all VR games and even regular games I want to experience from now on.

If there was any negative concern about this game, it would simply be I can't play other VR games now the same way knowing they could've create an experience like this. Its like eating the most amazing piece of steak(or vegetable if you're vegan) in a faraway land that you can never go back to and you're stuck with subpar steak at home. It's like being with that 10/10 partner that you could never find in your life again after that one night stand. Its like loving Game of Thrones till the last season and now you're like wtf Directors why did you ruin that ending and the last 6 years of my life.

Anyways. Is it worth buying a whole VR set? Yeah if you have expendable income. If not, go to a friends and use their VR...but remember COrOnaVIRUS its gonna get ya. Stay at home plz and wash your hands!

My friend and I tried to play this together online and then I found out I was really blind in real life because I didn't see the instructions that it was a lan only game.

Found out I was really blind. 10/10

After buying this from the midweek sale out of sheer boredom, I can't believe I never attempted to play this game. This game is awesome in its story telling and interactive gameplay.

You make choices like in Mass Effect, you have quicktime events like most games these days, and the ability to walk around and investigate. The story telling from just Episode 1 is already suspenseful and has me off my seat.

I reccomend that you try this game out if you're one for a great story.

Not your ordinary FPS shooter. Team based objective game with a marines vs. aliens shooter theme to it. Both marines and aliens has a commander who plays in a "starcraft style RTS" mode that builds, upgrades structures, and "micros" buffs/debuffs to your enemy and teammates. Every one else plays as a marine or exosuit (mechs) versus different evolution of aliens ranging in support roles to assassin roles. The game has been updated monthly and shows some response to the community. Overall, if the support is consistent by "UWE" (Unknown Worlds), then the game will surely have a good lifespan for you. There are a few modded servers that keep the game fresh and a unique game in every game you play. Some of the negative aspects of the game though are the consistent team stacking, pro players coming into servers just to make the game depressing by steamrolling everyone, and lack of maps.

Pros: Unique style of gameplay, different forms of aliens to experience, coordinated team gameplay, and non mirrored matchup.

Cons: One or two sharpshooters on the same team can ruin the game, well played fade or lerk lifeform can carry the entire alien team, balance issues, lack of maps, small community, heavy rookie learning curve.
