D&D but video game. A few small changes from your expected 5e but largely the same thing. There are like 1-2 QoL nitpicks but this game deserves GOTY. Also you can have gay bear sex.

Gameplay is intuitive, the progression is both rewarding and punishing, and the experience is unlike any other in the modern era of games. Really fun to play 9/10

Good competitive game to get into. Theres a lot more you can do than what you first assume, and once you learn certain skills/mechanics it can be very rewarding to pull them off against actual players. They work on problems the community worries about, and are actively updating and adding things to the game.

>Be me
>11
>Play Black Ops I when it first comes out
>Enjoy the hell out of the game, both multiplayer and zombies
>Specifically zombies
>Play it every day for years
>MFW Black Ops II comes out
>Get hooked back into zombies
>Play it non-stop, making the fondest of memories I've ever had
>Make a bunch of groups of people who play zombies, specifically Origins
>Decide to hop back on after nearly 4 years of not playing
>Launch PS3
>Log in
>Friends: Offline for 3 years
>MFW
>Get sad that I don't have those friends to hop on Origins with
>See that they remastered Origins and Black Ops I maps on Zombie Chronciles
>Grab Mommy's Credit Card
>Get DLC
>Make new friends
>Have new memories on Old Maps
>MFW happy again, nostalgic, and glad.

Overall... 10/10. If you played the old maps, you'll love it. It will reminds you of all the fond memories you had while playing it back in the day. If you haven't played them, I highly recommend it. It is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. There is nothing better than loading up a random match, finding a bunch of people with microphones, and just seeing how far all of you can last. You make undying friendships that I shall remember to this day. I may have lost them over time, but the memories I have of loading up games of Acension, or Kino Der Toten. Messing around with Pop_445 on Origins, or trying to understand what the hell was going on in Shangri-La or Moon, I am forever grateful that I can relive these experiences in a new way, with new guns, and new people. Thank you Treyarch.

TL;DR
Get this game, it was nostalgic and one of the greatest purchases I've made.

When I first played this game I hated it. I thought that it was extremely complicated and impossible to beat. This is likely the feeling most people get when they first play a Dark Souls game. The frustration of death and lack of understanding can lead to a feeling of hopelessness. After putting in two hours, I had decided to refund the game. This was my first mistake. Dark Souls is not a game that you can just give up on. It rewards your persistence, makes you work hard, and teaches you how to play a game proactively rather than reactively. Most other games focus on quick-time events, cutscenes, and gameplay mechanics that we have seen to much of. Dark Souls breaks this idea of what a game should be by making us strategize, learn how to create our own builds, think ahead, and forge the best tactics through the most creative processes in order to achieve greatness. I was ignorant to dismiss a game due to it's difficulty. I accept my mistakes and have moved past them. Dark Souls III has become one of my favorite titles that I have played, and I look forward to play the games that came before. Give this game a chance, and when it breaks your leg, use your crutch as a weapon in the end.

Early Access Review
This game is difficult for new people to pick up, however after you get through the beginning slave work, it becomes a really fun and unique experience. You can team up with friends to create a massive army, or risk it solo, like a lone wolf, trying to save yourself, making the game even more difficult. Teams work best for the game, and if you have some friends who are willing to play with you, you are in for an amazing time.

Good Game, You play as a character who has unlimited paths to take, One of the best Open World Games out there to this day. The storyline is amazing and the sidequests still amaze me. Your abilities are limited, It's difficult to level, This keeps it balanced!
