I played this directly after coming out of theatres for the movie. Doing that genuinely made the game scarier for me. Loved both the movie and the game.

Game design done absolutely right.

Perfectly paced.
Beautiful music that fits all the different themes in each level.
A good amount of backtracking that feels insanely rewarding.
A lot of weapons that keep the combat fresh enough that it doesn't get boring or tedious.

You can just feel that there is a lot of love and passion behind this game.

My overall favourite aspect is the incredible atmosphere. Makes me wanna grab my bag and go hiking.
