I get that its early access but it is still way too early to be taking peoples money. Extremely rough around the edges and not enough content to justify it.

The gameplay is solid but everything else is just rotten. The soundtrack, style, multiplayer, and progression is all a major step down from even the first Skate game. Tying any progression and leveling up with visiting the MTX store is borderline predatory. The recent addition of a $40 dead space skin just seals it. This game is not gonna correct course.

Caving into censorship is the death of any art or medium. Altering the style and feel of a game like this is a huge mistake.

Can I just play a game without some battlepass nonsense wanting me to treat it like a full time job? Id much rather just pay for a complete or basic edition.

It's like someone looked at Shadow of the Colossus and decided to make it bloated with features it doesn't need. Crafting system, durability, and a cold meter? Completely unnecessary features taken from better games. This game has some neat moments and ideas but is bogged down with unneeded filler. Shadow of the Colossus worked because of its minimalist approach. Its a shame that's the one thing the devs didn't copy
