The game is decent. better then 2024

people are negative review bombing this because they forgot that EA has always pulled sketchy and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ buisness choices.

I dont condone EA's poor choices. But the game is okay. and considering that this review is for the game...
I'll leave it as a positive.

As of 1-25-26 the Steam page Still lists this game as PVE and Online CO-OP.

I play solo and dont want to deal with sweaty PVP'ers. I wanted a PVE / Co-op game and this game looks awesome so i checked it out.

Booting up the game looks and runs great. Played a few matches, was unable to locate the PVE Mode, But i assumed it was because i was in the tutorial mode. Met a few players and they where nice. completed the Tutorial mode. Then discovered This game Lacks a dedicated PVE / Co-op gamemode all together. and the steam page falsely describes the game. and the community keeps tagging it as PVE when its not. Steam really needs to correct this.

I decided to give the game a shot anyways, it was really fun and the people I met thus far seemed chill. next 3 matches I was killed on sight by some try hard sweat for my low level gear right off the start for maybe a few gray scraps I picked outa a car. often did not have time to react or my guns where so low level i was unable to scratch their high level gear.

So while this game was quite fun. its falsely advertised on steam. and did not have the features i was looking for.

It is however a pretty well made game, looks great, and runs well. so if PVP Extraction shooters are your thing. Give it a shot.

But at the end of the day, I choose to make this review "not recommended" because it did not have the features I was looking for, that the steam page said it had.

it's pretty good

Love this game for the same reasons I love rimworld, as you play Your character will go on to tell a story rather short or long. of their feeble attempts of survival in a ruthless world that they no longer belong in. resist while you can, because death will find its way to you eventually.


12/10 Highly recomend, Great with friends. Endless modding potental. Open Sandbox settings allow you to play exactly how you want. and mix up the senarios to keep it fresh.

I don't understand the bad reviews... This is An awesome foundation to build an even better space engineers from. The new grid system looks awesome and the tools to use it are an awesome improvement over SE1, its fun to build in and as features are added it'll be even better.

I really dig the dynamic damage and destruction system, i hope they keep and improve on this as development goes, Cracked glass, more stuff chipping and falling away, dynamic performance depending on damage zones maybe?

I hope this game sees more player tools too later on in the future, more then SE1 has at least. maybe some more destructive tools, weapons, etc? I always felt the player was lacking in SE1 when it came person used tools / weapons. I'd love to be able to place an explosive or fire a rocket.

I feel as the Dev's are clear with the road map and clearly explained what is currently and will soon be in the game, looking forward to the future updates.

I'll do my best to update this review in the future as the Dev's Meet their goals, ( or fail, but i'm hopeful).

yes is good

keep your expectations reasonable if you have a mid tier or older PC don't expect perfect max settings and high FPS out the gate. Adjust settings, drivers, and resolution till you get a good fps for your system

In my opinion this game is great thus far in the amount of time I've gotten to creep my way around the zone, It feels like a stalker game, it moves like a stalker game, and looks like the stalker game you'd imagine if the originals where made in modern time.

some keybinding changes are required for a more similar control pattern to other modern titles. but this is 100% a player preference ordeal, as someone who plays a lot of different games Warframe, Dayz, Destiny2, Zomboid, Rimwold as some examples, i often adjust keybinds to be similar to other titles for ease of remembering what does what in a tense situation
