I posted my opinions already about this, and will leave it as a downvote for me.

TBH, The intro felt like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ xbox 360 game that made absolutely no sense to anyone. It wasn't funny nor to induce a good reaction,

And the combat mechanics were absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ edition.

The optimization needs severe help also.

Lemme Just Say that I hate this trash game. It's not fun anymore, the social aspect is really garbage ass ♥♥♥♥. Now, I can back OTHER final fantasy titles, but quite frankly everything seemingly publish by square has be garbage dumpster material over the past 5-10 years. 16 was good, 15 was good, but 14 is just trash throw it in a dumpster and burn the entire code to pieces.

The controls felt off, the rendering of the game just felt off, the fact there's a dlc with this game... IDK just felt off.

The entire game didn't really attribute to my vibe at all. I really thought I was going to enjoy this game, but sadly it was not my type of game play. on a 3080ti even the rendering just was yuck and took considerable amounts of rendering just to render specific fields.

The rendering of the onithopter or whatever did not match the frame rate of 120fps. while simultaneously the fluttering effect did not work at all.

While also, no features to customize the character even further, it felt completely unfinished of a game along with customization features, and magically yall have dlc for the game 3 months into development without fixing all the bug fixes, rendering issues, ensuring the madness...

WHILE also, the rendering of the characters then throwing the equipment on as an added artifact? The game felt completely unfinished with the graphics, entirely...

Ya I refunded. anyone else wanna hound me for refunding, anyone wanna hate on me for this? be my guest, but the game's unfinished as it is right now.

Was suppose to be my birthday present, but sadly it lacked a lot of what I wanted in a game in 2025.

The entire basis and spoilers:

Morak, turning the dead into skeletons to turn into goblin, to turn into cultists, and eventually demons that wreck havoc upon the gauntlet, all to fuel his ego even more to get the blade of tyrfing... your entire job is to fuel his ego one step at a time, fueling his god tendencies to become one of the worst narcissists known to the world has ever known.

A good game to 100%, fathom, while also knowing that you are being weaponized if you don't support the correct person. This game gives you the decisions of what could occur and why you should question from a morality standpoint what can happen... while also giving very good entertainment value and necessities thereof.

In endless mode, it becomes one of the hardest timesinks, but also the level can far exceed the 8192 limits, and some have shown that it is in-fact a challenge even in 2025(nearly 12 years later) to become helpful towards you colleagues and commades.

Truly a good game, wish this got updated.

Instead of making new characters, why not fix the characters you already ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ have? Like, some of these characters are completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless beyond mind boggling ideology, and here we are adding new characters... I will go back to playing ROR:Returns. 2 just absolutely sucks beyond belief.

To tak onto this, the community is beyond rude :) That is all.

Immediately refunded the game after seeing the 1st cave... Turnorder has always been: Lenna, (sometimes Bartz depending on level 3), and then Galuf. Never in a million ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years is Galuf's speed faster than Lenna's. ALWAYS in EVERY OTHER VERSION OF THE GAME -- including IOS AND ANDROID -- It is THIS ORDER. Anything "remastered" from a speed stat is off, and sometimes lenna will go first, then its somehow turn ordered: Galuf, Bartz, Lenna, Then Lenna Speeds up, then Bartz, then Galuf... All in 1 turn... That's NOT HOW THAT WORKS. Lenna going 3rd then 4th means this game is bugged beyond repair.

SNES/GBA/IOS/Android/PS1:
1:Lenna(sometimes Bartz/Butz)
2:Bartz/Butz(Sometimes Lenna)
3:Galuf.

This Version:
Who the heck knows...
1:Galuf
2:Bartz
3:Lenna
4:Lenna
5:Bartz
6:Galuf.

Some of the biggest problems I found with CS:1 :

Coal plants only produced 40mw, They weren't modular, nor could you upgrade them modularized: Could add modularized nuclear reactors and power plants. When burning trash gives you more wattage than a coal plant, that's completely stupid imo.

Landfills: okay, so landfills are needed in the lower cities, and that's fine, I don't disagree with them, but they generally are not smaller than a skyscraper landwise. So, modularizing them as so, is in-fact a good idea.

Recycling for the trash: All you had to do in CS:1 was have 3-4 landfills then empty out the segments with "Recycling" ordinance enabled and you could reduce the trash to get rid of it that way.

Hydro Electric Dams did not do well, in fact, you could make a "poop dams" and get so much electricity out of it... Not the greatest nor intellengent way to produce electricity.

YouTubers: The YouTubers and content creators of any game have agendas, and biffa -- for example -- is not a good "Measurement" of how good the game is. He advocated for the wrong thing in this, if you claim "oh it's just a game." Then label it as such, because, reality states videogames are not realistic. If you simply plop a 40mw coal plant that produces less energy than wind farms, your a dingbat for calling it realistic.

Youtubers part 2: They have their own agenda to make themselves look popular, and kind of force it down people's throats on how the game SHOULD be played, and not being CREATIVE. Factorio -- for example -- has been plagued with this as well. I am glad that paradox went this route instead of being offset by completely OCD "content creators"

City Planners: they do have some weight in this topic, but again, it's a game, its not realistic at all, if you worship cs1 then that's clearly not realistic from a coal plant only producing 40megawatts, because coal plants definitely produce more energy than wind farms from a mechanical level.

Performance: Sure whatever, but please criticise ark on it's performance. The gaming industry -- in all it's entirety has terrible performance regardless, so this game is no exception... Please funnel that idea at the game engine developers as they truly are some of the stupidest ideas on the planet. The fact that it soaks up less than 4 gigabytes 3200 ddr4 ram on a default game, is in-fact staggering for 2024, but the gpu sounding like a lawn mower should be looked into AND COMPLAINED TO AT UNITY... as this is obviously of concern to the gaming sector as a whole for you.

Ideas I like about CS2:

Power Differentials: UNLIKE BIFFA -- who only focuses on stupid traffic and imo only talks about traffic blah -- the idea behind this is great and realistic. It produces a real atmosphere, and makes sense.

Water Pipes Under Roads: UNLIKE BIFFA -- who only focuses on traffic -- the idea behind water on roads is a good idea. However, I feel there should be different pipes other than just heating and regular pipes. It's already done, and makes sense once you think about it. However, I also feel septic tanks should be taken into consideration for smaller zones, this feels also realistic.

Building Sizes: I agree with these btw.

Things I Think CS2 Should Add:

Take the Sim City 4 idea of regions.

Let's take too the streets and drive in 3d.

Formal Dumpdude awards:

There is a tool that shows exactly which spots are being utalized by the road so I gotta call you out...

Its as if Factorio(Biterless), Cities Skylines, Openttd, and Indie all had a baby in space. Oh, and has a really good story, but I haven't figured out areas in the game :) Appreciated in advance
