A charming, short (and free!) visual novel about a vampire, what's not to love? The game has a lovely stylized art, with simple yet pretty backgrounds. The two characters are designed well and their designs suit their personalities. The story itself was surprisingly deeper than I would have imagined for such a short visual novel and I really enjoyed it. There is voice acting, but I was not a big fan of it and it happened sort of randomly and would end suddenly.

Bonus points for multiple endings and a good amount of achievements!

A cute and not to complicated game about dog sledding. There is 7 leagues you can go through, each harder than the last. Personally, I was comfortable around league 6, as league 7 was just too challenging (great for money though). You earn money through races and have to pay your bills at the end of the month, so you have to spend your money wisely. Racing is pretty simple - give the dogs treats before the get tired, dodge rocks by jumping, and don't throw treats when a tree is going to be in the way.

The art style is adorable and the dogs have awesome running animations. You can buy dogs, breed them, pet them, train them, race them, or let them rest. That's it - no cleaning kennels or having to feed them, etc. All dogs have certain traits: a skill, a fault, a favorite thing, and an aptitude. Skills and faults happen during the race and can either help or harm you, faults happen less and skills happen more the happier the dog is. Favorite things determine the dog's happiness. The longer the dog goes without its favorite thing, the less happy it will be. Aptitude determines what position the dog with be good in (wheel, middle, or lead).

The story is lackluster. Your character does not have a personality - just a rival that is literally named "The Jerk". The story is told through journal entries and is honestly pretty boring. If you were hoping for a great story to go along with the fun and simple game play, this might not be the game for you.

Overall, its a great game to play for a few hours, get all the achievements, and come back to occasionally when you are missing your doggos.

Not at all like the first game, so if you are thinking about buying it because you like the first game and want to play a game like that one - don't.

There is no option to turn back. There is no "right answer". Its just about running forward and not dying to whatever is happening around you. You can actually sprint through several rooms in a row - and why wouldn't you? You don't get punished. The only "complicated" part is the door will not open if you don't see certain anomalies.

I just really can't be bothered to enjoy this game. Its a walking sim survival horror as opposed to the first game which was more of a puzzle psychological horror. It's just not fun to play.

Early Access Review
They spent more time developing the battlepass than the actual game.

The sound design is horrible. When a monster is right on top of you, you hear nothing - no footsteps, no warning; however, when they are across the map I can hear their every footstep as if they are right on top of me. At one point of time, one of my friends and I both heard the monster's footsteps - the problem with that is that we were on opposite sides of the map when we heard these footsteps. Apparently, even though we heard these footsteps the monster was chasing another player - who, again, was nowhere near us.

Being dumped into the pit by the monster also sucks. Most of my friends just quit when they got put there. Just make it like dead by daylight and let the players just sit there. Attacking monsters to stay safe in an already unbalanced game is horrible. At one point I was thrown into the pit with my two friends, they got rescued but I didn't. Despite being in there the least amount of time, I had to deal with the monsters in their hardest mode because my friends were in there for a long time - that's a dumb feature.

Speaking of unbalanced, the game is heavily leaned towards the monsters. Its impossible to win. The puzzles they make you solve are so loud and ring around the map, giving you no chance to finish them. Maybe if the sound design wasn't so horrible I would be able to complete a puzzle without hiding every four seconds because I believe the monster is near me when it isn't. The abilities the monster have are so OP it isn't funny.

In a lobby, you can't choose who can be the monster. No queue or anything. Just a random chance to be the monster. The same person would be it several times in a row. My friends and I wanted to play until everyone got to be the monster at least once, but the lack of being able to choose made this impossible. We did not want to play the game anymore because it honestly sucks, so we were not going continue to play until the game chose everyone as the monster. This led to 2 of 5 (one of them being me) not being able to be the monster, so I can't review that part of the game.
