Story-wise it's not as strong as Hades, but it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excels at everything else. Base customization and build variety are the aspects that get the biggest upgrades in Hades II from a gameplay perspective. Also, the art is insanely good here, even better than in the first game, somehow.
