I just first want to start and say I have been playing rust since 2018 always have played for long periods and then came back. I have almost 4k hours and would consider myself a very good player with both game knowledge and being good at sprays. I fell in love with the game from how hard it was to grasp and how different it was from every other game needing countless hours to be better than someone else pure skill. I would say In the past two years there has been a lot more activity with updates than before with face punch almost throwing up content update after update the game was perfect for a very long period of time without any content updates with a beautiful community. Now don't get me wrong change is not bad it's nice to have new stuff now and then to keep interested and to grab people's attention but I feel like it started to get to the point where it was too much. the train update was cool and new and I was very excited about it but then they added underwater labs and just way too many ways to collect loot almost splitting everyone apart from having to fight for loot. It was to the point where I feel like I could hop in a server and complete a wipe in just around a couple of hours just giving that new player base an easy entry that we never had. It was still the old rust tho still hard in ways with game knowledge and sprays having to still have skill. With this recent update, tho I have had enough implementing an RNG-based spray for every gun with only 20% of bullets being part of the spray is absolutely trash RNG is in my opinion one of the worst things getting implemented into all these games and taking away from actually needing the skill to keep up. Yes, the spray patterns are easy now but RNG on top of them just completely ruins it. I have had enough with face punch and the direction they are taking the game they are money hungry and I can't even call this game rust anymore just does not feel the same...
