Schedule 1's only crime is that there isn't 5x more of it.

It's about as addicting as the stuff you concoct in the game :D

I stand by HoH as a brand, and this game as a testament to what Co-op gaming can be. The first game truly stands on its own as one of, if not the best, in the roguelite RPG genre. Having played the demo and now a bit of release for this iteration, I'm ecstatic to say they've done it again.

Don't sleep on this one.

My SO and I have been gaming together for 8 years, and this is the first time we've ever felt this level of adoration for a coop experience.

There's a lot of reviews failing to properly characterise Ship of Fools. I've played literally hundreds of indie darlings, and in my honest & thorough opinion this one stands tall among actual legends. If you've got a good gaming partner, give it a proper chance. Once you understand the core mechanics it's an absolute blast and a gift that keeps giving.

I do recommend rebinding the controls to something more intuitive for keyboard & mouse play, but otherwise, this game is flawlessly fun.

Combining so many classic archetypes in a way that's never been done before is possibly the greatest feat of this addicting masterpiece.

This is a Co-op RPG that checks every fun box. Don't let the negative reviews turn you away from what might be one of the greatest bite-sized cooperative RPG's ever made.

Edit: This poor thing got review bombed for reasons I don't feel valid any longer. This is a beautiful game for the people who are right for it. Would love to see more attention drawn to this franchise.

Feeling super fortunate to have found this game so many years ago. Recently launched it back up and was having a blast, and then BOOM! New content! Amazing!

This is the one true Dungeon Defenders game.

A very well contained game, plays within its own genre boundaries to an absolute perfection. Have been turning to it for a few weeks as a great time sink, cannot wait to see what additions are to come.

When it comes down to it, PUBG accomplishes something no other game accomplishes -- and that really should be praised. An incredible amount of expertise went into the creation of this game, and despite the often overwhelming flaws, the product works perfectly fine an incredibly large percentile of the time that you might play.

It's the best FPS out there, problems and all.

I previously reviewed this game positively in 2018 when I played the bulk of it. I had to come back & write another because 6 years later, Heroes of Hammerwatch is still definitively one of the best games in my 750+ game library.

It is quite possibly the best creation in the rogue-like format, in my opinion. Grab some friends & enjoy weeks of meaningful progression through challenging and engaging content!

Death Road to Canada is an overwhelmingly fun homage to the Oregon Trail (or more accurately the Organ Trail). I bought it on a whim due to the art style and zombies, as I have a soft spot for these types of games, and I honestly couldn't be more in love with it. The game is funny, original, creative, interesting, and above all else it's hard as hell. You face some serious challenges on the death road, and it takes a really long time before you're even competent enough to reach the final days leading up to Canada. On top of that, the sound track is absurdly catchy, to the point where I find myself going around my daily life whistling or humming to the music that's in this game.

This is all without even mentioning the fun I've had playing this couch coop. I only picked up the game two weeks ago shortly after its release on steam, but my friends and I have taken every opportunity possible to meet up at my place and get as far as we can. We still haven't even beaten the game once, possibly because we're terrible, but more likely because the game is just that challenging, and that's something I simply love.

If you are the kind of person who enjoys rogue-like games with difficult but rewarding gameplay, or if you're just looking for a good game to hang out with some friends and play, then this is a great choice for you.

I give Death Road to Canada a 9/10.
