This game is very good.

This game feels like it betrays everything about the Borderlands series. It feels wholly generic, as if the devs took Borderlands 3, filtered out anything that reminded people about the series, and added live service elements. If you're a fan of the series: avoid this game. If you're looking to get into the series: avoid this game, go play the first three, and then skip this game until we get the intervening title between this and five.

This game has a lot of content atm, but none of it is fun.

It's pretty hard to describe how I feel about this game. I was hoping that this would be more of a story focused on the entire team of superheroes, but I feel like it really focused mostly on the two pick-me romance options. It still definitely not bad, but it is also definitely not what I wanted or was hoping for. IMO it would have worked better if this was chapter/season two or three of a longer series. I also personally would have preferred if the runtime was longer somehow. I do strongly recommend it, but just note that if you want a game about an entire team of superheroes, this isn't really it.

It's a really uninteresting concept executed really well, sadly. The core gameplay loop is really bafflingly boring and made me lose all interest in ever playing it, but the writing is not horrible at all. I hope this studio keeps the story team but never makes a game like this again.

This game is really fun, especially when played with friends. I really enjoy riding around on sandbikes and scaling mountains specifically. Gathering resources, crafting, and combat (at least PvE) are kind of lackluster. I feel like PvP might be interesting, but based on my limited exposure players are very tanky there so it feels kind of arduous. Thankfully it seems as though most people are more than willing to let each other be, which is nice. I have not encountered many performance issues and absolutely no connection issues. Check it out if you are into exploration. Maybe reconsider if you want an RPG set on Arrakis or truly massively multi-player games (I believe each sub-server is capped at 40 players).

I can confidently say this is my favorite of the many games that I suck at.

Yes, the game has very good bones and is one of the few "CoD: Zombies"-like games out there, but there are still many, many issues with it. Everything feels way too meat-baggy, but yet not threatening. I beat the first level on my first try and hardly even took any damage. Even and especially the final boss was a joke. The zombies (or quiet ones) need to be way more of a threat while also being easier to kill for me to want to play the game. Also there is very very little audio, to the point that it is just the big bad enemy stomping around and the banshees that yell at you.

Both rocks and stones?! Absurd!
