I don't know about this one yet...

It's a bit too grindy with not enough reward for your grind. To start I feel like this game tells you nothing about how to play this game other than flip a coin and what comes up when you hover over an item. But trying to hunt through this horrible UI to figure out anything isn't fun! Maybe add a small guide? For example further on in the game you can unlock a thief that you can then hit to cause a bonus to happen. There is no indication on the ui that tells you this happens other than a small rectangle in the corner of the screen(but you can only see one buff at a time.....) You can readjust it but then the only other box on the screen with information gets smaller itself... The coin flipping and landing sound is miserable to listen to after 1 hour of gameplay, the music is alright but again I'm not listening to it for more than an hour. 10 hours(on off idle) in I've only got 6 skill points into prestige but none of the prestige mechanics are really keeping me wanting to play this game. There is a side gacha aspect where you can get hats for your helpers but again the system doesn't feel exciting to play. Especially at $6.99 this game isn't worth the price right now. I like the art style and it feels like it could have some good potential but wait for a sale.

This game is pretty good! It's a fun little incremental game with great audio, great mechanics, fun characters, good game length for price and an overall enjoyable experience! Made by a solo dev so go support your indie devs!

Broken

At this point, I have to say Elden Ring Nightreign is a disappointment. The premise is genuinely intriguing, but the execution falls flat. I absolutely hate that I have to dig through the entire visual codex just to understand what’s going on. And by the way—being able to access all the lore and use top-tier weapons from the hideout right away completely kills the sense of discovery. The whole thing feels unpolished and rushed. For $40, it simply doesn’t deliver, and it doesn’t bode well for the franchise’s ability to continue innovating.

Fantastic game. A lot of the backlash right now is just noise from players upset that their 1-2 button builds got nerfed. Then they double down and complain about any build that isn’t what their favorite streamer is playing, refusing to branch out or experiment on their own.

But Path of Exile 2 shines when it comes to theorycrafting. If you’re looking for brain-off, spam-a-button gameplay, go play LE or D4—those games are much more forgiving and simplified by design.

Sure, POE2 has its flaws, but we’re literally in Early Access version 0.2.0. Things are going to evolve. GGG has a solid track record of listening to their community and improving the game. Let’s not trash a passionate dev team over a rough draft of something with this much potential.

I'm sure this game will be better in a few years but after 9 years of assumed development time this game is just a big disappointment. It's just not fun and it seems like it takes too much time to have fun.

This game goes hard.

Played the trial and had a lot of fun because it actually ran really good. One month later, I decided to buy it and oh boy why did I do that, for some reason now it wants to stutter/slow motion every other play making the game completely unplayable! Don't buy this, it's fun but it is literally unplayable.

The campaign is quite bland if I'm being honest about it, you would hope that after they put out a story like witch queen we would have gotten a new story that was even better. Nope, not at all. The characters and story lines are quite annoying, and the gameplay is recycled enemies just in a new area and new boss. Strand is cool but for 49.99 it's not worth it.
