Really nice game. Runs well, looks great, fun to control, and an interesting little story. I've always kind of hated "cozy game" as a genre name because it's just not useful at all, especially for a game like this, but I must admit it. I found it to be a very cosy experience. I grew up driving along empty, tree-lined, snowy streets like these, and this perfectly captured that feeling of going from one small town to another along mountainsides with far more snow than is safe to drive in. Brewing coffee and tea, hurrying between your car and the building so you don't freeze, very nostalgic and peaceful to me. I enjoyed it a lot.

REALLY fun game. I really hate when people describe games as "a mix of X and Y", but this game really is like just straight up majoras mask if it were like banjo kazooie. Wasn't sure the game was for me at first, but then I got to the point where it clicked with me what's going on and what I need to do and suddenly I was having so much fun. The characters are silly, the movement is great, and the music left me with my jaw dropped at some points. Stellar lil game, I had a blast

Really fun, very nostalgic. I haven't played a story of seasons game since the first one, so I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy this but I'm glad I took that chance because it feels so much the same as back then. I'm very happy with the daily gameplay loop and art style. I'm not huge on any of the love interest options, but that's alright.

I bought this game to help me calm down in a very very stressful moment of my life, and it did the job perfectly

I had fun! I do love a good 3D platformer. It's rather gimmicky, and short enough that by the end of it I still didn't feel like I had a grasp of the full depth of the controls, and the ride mechanic is especially clunky and frustrating and times, but that's my only complaint for an otherwise great game. runs well, the story is cute, and I LOVE the art style and music. Fun game, pure and simple

I had to sit on this for a while before being able to finally write my review, because it feels... complicated.

The first game was phenomenal, an instant favourite of mine. it's hard NOT to compare this one to the first. sadly, It falls flat in a lot of areas, especially the story. It's very disconnected from the first game and constantly throws aside all the big plot setups it seems to be building, to very frustrating effect. this is done intentionally, as is revealed by the Big Bad, and I can appreciate that in hindsight, but it DOES make for a less fun experience while playing. I could go on and on about my gripes with the game, but at the end of the day? I had fun. it's a fun game with good music and good characters and REALLY good battles. and I think that was the real intention.

Overall? a good time. I can easily see why it wouldn't be someone's cup of tea, but personally I like it for what it is and not what I want it to be. I like it a lot

Well worth the wait!! I'm really happy this game is finally out, it's a lot of fun, it plays really well, and my favourite musicians from the first game make their return alongside new ones that have quickly earned their place in my heart. when it was first announced I was afraid that I wouldn't like this more typical lane-style gameplay, but I actually really do! all the different monster patterns are really cool and make for interesting and difficult combinations. The art style and different character designs is another thing I was afraid I wouldn't like, but they're actually very charming, and I've warmed up to them a lot since playing the demo!

amazing and beautiful game! I went into it thinking the translation mechanic might be too difficult and that I would be referencing a guide often, but it turns out most of them were easy enough to put together on my own! it runs well, the music is nice, I love the bold and bright colours that were used, and even the fixed camera angles are used to full atmospheric effect. the story is also sweet, and I enjoyed each level's different people. basically I had a lot of fun with pretty much all parts of the game, I have very few complaints, if any. highly recommend

Literally one of the best games of all time. I've played it from start to finish at least like five times since I was a kid, and it still holds up. this is a classic for a reason; the art direction, music, and gameplay are all fine-tuned to make an experience few can replicate. this is the third copy of the game that I own and overall I'd say it's a really good port. it runs well, the graphics are good, and it's compatible with my controller. Really there's no reason NOT to play Okami at this point
