Grind is awful, economy is awful, should not be stuck in interwar/early WWII tanks after almost 200 hours.

So, its been a little under a year of MWO's steam release. Do i still think it's a good game? Yes. Do I still reccomend it? No.

In the year since its steam release, one thing has become apparent to me. This is that PGI is led by total morons. They've only just started covering major balancing issues that have been in the game for years. Mind you this is well after the announcement of a major first-party e-sports tournement, when the game is still barely ready for the public in terms of balance and optimization.

This, again, is not to say it is a bad game. It is very quickly becoming one, however. Try at your own discretion, but don't tell me i didn't warn you when everything goes to ♥♥♥♥.


P.S.: For anyone looking for a new Battletech/Mechwarrior strategy game, there's one in development RIGHT NOW by Harebrained Schemes, due to release May of next year.

Great humor, great gamelay, and graphics from 2007 that hold up perfectly in the gaming world today.
