After roughly 400+ hours and counting...!
I’ve invested over 400 hours into Monster Hunter Wilds and just finally thought it'd be time to give an honest review. I feel well-qualified to share my honest experience with the game’s development journey. When I first started playing, the performance was rough—frustrating (and many can agree with me) with noticeable lag and optimization issues that made the gameplay less smooth than it deserved to be.. feeling it was released too early. However, what truly stands out is that Capcom's commitment and steady progress over the past year.

The improvements in performance have been significant and consistent. It’s clear that the team has been listening to the community and prioritizing the right areas, but there's still more to feather up around the edges, furthermore I'll admit I'm more engaged with the game's future especially with the upcoming performance update they promised. The game now runs much more smoothly, and the overall experience has become far more enjoyable and immersive. I will adress that the DLC check bug was not intended by Capcom whatsoever, but they have taken notice of the bug and will fix it asap!

What impresses me most is the steady, direct path that Capcom's on. They’re not rushing but moving at a thoughtful pace, focusing on quality and meaningful enhancements. I’m genuinely excited to see MHWilds continue to bloom and reach its full potential. MHWilds has a bright future ahead, and I’m here for the entire journey ahead, super excited for the DLC.
