The trajectory this game has taken since CS:GO is largely disappointing.
• People make bot accounts to farm weekly drops? Make the drops worse instead of finding a way to detect and ban bots. Brilliant!
• The anti-cheat is near non-existent.
• It's been nearly 3 years with a surprising lack of new content. While the cases are dealing with legislature issues, the maps and game modes are not.
• Subtick was very cool as a concept but has led to very poor gameplay feel. I play in an area far away from steam servers so hit registration is hit or miss, but mostly miss. You shouldn't be able to do a 6 bullet spray point blank to someone, and have it say that I've done 54 in 2.

This game feels like a pre-release, and it's sad. The unfortunate reality is that there is very little competition for a shooter like this.

Since it's a small indie company that can't afford to fix a lot of this it's understandable. Excited for CS3 though.
