For a game with such cute visuals, it's a surprisingly hard puzzlegame.

In the two hours I've played I've:

Made recursive fish

Made a friend

Dug far enough down I found the sky

turned the friend into balls

Weaponized hate

blended cat and dog together to make noot meat

I cloned a body pillow until the walls started screaming. I cannot make them stop.

A cute little merge puzzle game, similar to the Doodle God series. I like it.

I bought this on a whim because I saw it listed next to the climbing game of the same name. Peak is a desktop idle game with surprisingly deep mechanics that you can 100% very quickly, as far as idle games go. Nothing is explained and very little is shown when it comes to stats, but in my opinion that's a part of the appeal. it's up to you to figure out what things do and how they benefit you, experimenting with the various mechanics to find the best way to increase your score.

For the low price, I think Peak is well worth a purchase if you're an idle game fan.

This is no Quickerflak, but it's close. This game is heavily inspired by the work of Walther Manchado; a man known for making "standalone minigames" of high quality.

3 Seconds Remaining is an arcade top-down shooter minigame. The gunplay is smooth and responsive, the visuals are clean, and I like the difficulty curve that stems from starting with a shotgun, but being made to switch to a pistol to conserve ammo.

While I like the game, it is currently lacking in polish: The player has no death state, resulting in the game over screen being bugged; the camera feels a bit too zoomed-in, making it hard to read the room; and the default sound volume is quite loud. All of these things are easily fixed, likely just a solid day of polishing would clean up these issues. There's also a translation issue: the game is listed as being translated into 103 languages, but is only available in English. Tiny.ROM, if you are reading this, please look up "PolyglotGamedev", it will make translating your game so much easier. Though, it doesn't support all 103 of the languages you've listed.

Overall, this is a solid minigame at a decent price, my only gripes are fairly easy to fix, and I hope the developer goes on to make more games.

A nice relaxing fishing game.

Mechanics are simple; collect fish, aim for the high-value fish. However, since the low-value fish tend to swim towards your hook and the high-value fish swim away or protect themselves, this can require some careful manoeuvring to do well. Then comes the roguelike elements: the trinket system seems very inspired from Balatro's jokers, and how money is calculated follows suit. This isn't a bad thing, Balatro is a good game and Stu borrows arguably its best part, it just means that if you're familiar with that game, the winning strategies in Stu the Fisherman will seem very familiar.

My only gripes are minor, and seem largely to do with the early-access nature of the game, and the fact I'm fairly early on in progression. There's some stock art being used as placeholders for some of the trinkets, viable strategies are quite limited, and the story mode seems pretty easy. Both of these things will likely be fixed during development as more content is added, and placeholder sprites are swapped out for purpose-made art.

I'm looking forward to seeing where this project goes in development, what's here so far seems like a good foundation. It's already a fun game with nice art, all it needs is some polish.

I knew this game had sexual content, but I don't think there were ample content warnings for my character being sexually assaulted in the first 3 minutes of gameplay. That part left a sour taste in my mouth, and I can't see myself revisiting this game.

Just got back into this game with the Steam release, probably have upwards of a thousand hours playing the game back in 2012-2016.

Ending my first year now; the diplomat from the Mountain home has "Profession: Criminal" and my lead doctor is married to a necromancer. Just finished digging out some space under a frozen pond so next spring it will melt and make the ground muddy enough to plant shrooms, with space inside the former pond itself for aboveground crops. All the dwarves are happy, a strange mood netted me a silver battleaxe, and I've stocked up on enough food for a year already.

It's going to be great watching this all go horribly wrong.
