Definitely harder than Hollow Knight, but it's the kind of hard that causes you to sweat and stress. Some would consider that a bad thing, but I don't mind it much? As once you succeed at a part that's being a pain, it feels more relieving to beat it.

Crest System is very interesting, gives players multiple ways to handle a situation.

If you ever wanted to raid with your friends without having to worry about grinding a character's level and gear, then this game is for you.

KJH and PM wanted to nerf a character that impeded their freedom to design IDs using Rupture, so some crybabies are whining and crying about it, the game is still very good and Canto 8 is proving to be another step up from the previous Canto, and we don't even have Part 3 of Canto 8 yet.

Wait a couple more years before thinking of giving your hard earned money for this game, this game does not respect your time and will try to get you addicted to its grind. RNG is a ♥♥♥♥ thing for replayability when it comes to the player's gear.

This game is fun, like *really* fun. But with the current requirement for a PSN Account to continue playing. *Months* after release is not only scummy, but predatory. I wouldn't mind making a PSN Account, the problem is PSN is *not* available in my country. So what am I supposed to do? Did I just get scammed out of my money?

Addendum: As of now I have submitted a refund request for the game, and will likely never touch another Sony funded product due to this full frontal corporate greed. I hope the shareholders see this to see the sheer incompetence of the management of Sony's gaming department.

Addendum 2: We did it, Divers! Sony has decided to rescind their decision to make it mandatory to link Steam to a PSN account. I'm so proud of this community, I don't think any Corporation has ever bent the knee to the Players before, so this is rather big news. Hopefully this will knock some sense into the PSN Game Department Higher Ups, even if that's a fools bet.

Addendum 3: I've been told as of late that the game is still yet to be available again to Countries that cannot access PSN. This includes where I live, any time I try to go to HDII's store page it simply tells me it isn't available. ♥♥♥♥ you, Sony.

Addendum 4: Welp, looks like Region Restrictions have been lifted. Time to join the battle once again.

7 Years of Dev Time well worth the price. Looking forward to any future updates this game receives.

Great game overall, still a surprisingly active community with loads of custom games.

One of the first Rogue-Like games I have and sprouted my interestes in the genre. I highly reccomend the game even though it may cause... Mild cases of rage and anger... Eh, you should expect such and such with rogue-like games.
