You know, I see a lot of these negative reviews and just wonder, "Wow, did you actually look at the game before you bought it?" Let me address some of the issues, starting with the only valid one in my eyes.

1. The dreaded HOTAS deadzone issues. That sucks, and I'd be pissed off too. I used a HOTAS for a little while when I started, and I couldn't tell if I had that same issue or if I was just garbage with a stick. I swapped to a gamepad and I'm doing just fine now.

2. The Story. It's a 5v5 space combat pvp game. If you went into it expecting some CD Projekt Red Witcher 3 storyline, you either didn't research the game ahead of time or can't read. Whoops. Yeah, the story isn't great. It's cliche as many Star Wars game stories are, but it serves it's purpose. It's an excellent way to get into the game and understand the PVP element. Also you get some skins for it. Neat!

3. The SJW crap. I played through the full story and dove into the multiplayer happily. I didn't realize people were sour over some race related idiocy until after I started scrolling through the Squadrons community. Holy. Sh*t. People need to chill, not everything needs to be seen through the lens of race or gender. Just chill, enjoy your space shooty game, and move on.

4. The rest. The rest of the issues I see in the reviews comes from people being bad at the game, or people not knowing what the game was to begin with. Not my fault they're butthurt over sucking and it's unfair to the devs that they drop a negative review because they're not the target audience.
