Not exaggerating when i say this might be the hardest set of dlc's i have ever played no joke, every one of these is pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difficult that i want to blow my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brains out, the poker dlc takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever to do that you legit have to sit for 2 hours straight to go through opponents and if you die there is no checkpoint, you start right back at the beginning, i do not recommend any casual fan this unless they play it once but for the hardcore fans that want a 100%, please god stay away from this at all costs, not only price but the dlc itself is not worth your time or money, it is not worth the 100% just 100% base game, for me i have to, i payed 7 dollars for this ♥♥♥♥

SPOILERS

Poker game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, it might be the worst thing i've done in a while and people are telling me Ethan must die is hard but this is pure torture, i ♥♥♥♥ you not i sat for over 3 hours in my chair, watching youtube as i play ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ poker and i wish there was a speed up option because it takes so long to do, and how in gods name are you suppose to do ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 10!? in a row, i barely scrubbed 7 and i was struggling, it's all RNG so you have to legit sit there and be just lucky, it isn't fun and who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ made this ♥♥♥♥ i want to kill them

Nightmare - Is another one i don't like because by the time you get to the final Jack you are out of everything, you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, how are these even possible and who made them!? and all this is, is just COD zombies

SPOILERS

Not sure why i haven't written a review but this is the longest Souls game no doubt, 77 hours total and all dlc and fully co op with my brother till the end, sure you can say Elden Ring is long but that's probably due to people getting stuck on the optional bosses, this however was an entire journey start to finish, like the whole game is long (DS2) and the dlc is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, one of the bosses you can barely get to because it doesn't fly down

7/10 - The dragon bosses in this game and the stupid chad fire sword dude in the lava area and the dlc ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck, and ♥♥♥♥ that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ swamp water area with the shooting beam people

It's ironic how the "updated" version is complete broken after the anniversary update because i don't think in my life i've seen a bug where if i click on settings it opens steamvr, like that is crazy

This game is peak dude, this is like Resident Evil 4 on crack mixed with Bioshock

Not even joking when i say this is the most innovative game i've played in a while, you got all the tools you need for the entire game and they all feel great where it doesn't feel too compact and you actually get to use them

SPOILERS

Game went from fun to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying to play, i was on normal and there was so many enemy's packed for no reason that it felt like i was on the hardest diffciulty, like i died over 57 times because there were too many enemy's on screen, like whoever made the babys need to go to hell

I will say, so far these are pretty ok games but not the best, you'd definitely get your money's worth for Resident Evil games since those have actual story

For the series so far I can definitely say not for me, like it isn't bad it's just it feels like i'm not it's target audience where nothing really gripped me, i only tried the second one out just because i was like "Maybe if i play the other one i'll like the series?"

Like my best description is that game you see your edgy older brother plays in the 2000's

I am actually flabbergasted by the amount of profanity in Dispatch, like it's left and right like a truck and i just started.

SPOILERS FOR EACH EPISODE

Episode 1 - Opening was really great, i love that opening shot, wasn't expecting so much cursing and sex jokes coming left and right like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, after the confrence into the bar scene the episode was just an ok plot that seemed to not go anywhere. Wasn't expecting Roberts voice to be that deep and it makes for a regonizable guy so far - 5/10

Episode 2 - Better, it feels like were finally getting into the meat a small bit into the actual game and what it's about, and also getting jokes i was not expecting at all that my jaw keeps dropping at them, the episode was overall entertaining and i can tell that these aren't really long episodes like Telltale's previous works where usually it's a 2-3 hour episode but these to me seem to be about 30-40 minutes? i'm only on episode 3 and it's been 2 hours now. For the characters the only characters i don't like that feel like filler are the rock guy, the disco lady, and the wingsuit lady and flame dude, doesn't seem to add much so far at all besides just filler characters, it seems direct focus is Sonar and Invisigal. Episode overall is good and felt like a better intro to the game if they could've just ended the first episode here, while the gameplay feels pretty good but i am getting really bad roles - 7/10

Episode 3 - An casual episode that feels like it's just gameplay not much else and you really think i'd let go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sonar!?, 5/10

Episode 4 - WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ WAS THAT OPENING. I opened a bag of cheeto puffs and that started playing and i was flabbergasted, but listen i was going to choose her anyway, the game didn't need to do all that extra work. Another episode where it seems nothing really happens - 5/10

Episode 5 - Nothing really happened until that ending part, not much to add - 5/10

Episode 6 - Feel like the plot is actually moving now and was overall a good episode especially the party and i guess dancing was a choice or something? i didn't get a prompt, also i wish the fast guy had more to him before that whole scene because it felt like i should feel sad but i don't. Also want to call this one and predict Shroud is probably Blonde Blazer or someone we know on the team because we haven't heard a voice, or know his height besides one scene but it was angled, this was my theory up in Episode 2, let's see what happens - 7/10

Episode 7 - I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knew it, i knew who ever you chose to leave was going to be a villain later i knew it from that moment. The invisigirl "twist" didn't really feel like a twist especially since you know she's been a ♥♥♥♥♥ the entire game to you, actually most of these people are super unlikable and have never developed so far, probably the most unlikable cast of characters i've seen - 6/10

Episode 8 - Ok i don't know if it was my playthrough but it was pretty bad like what do you mean i let invisigirl turn evil!? when the hell did i neglect her, and i wanted to kill Shroud dude what the ♥♥♥♥, that actually makes me angry and i guess there's romance in the game to because i didn't get any of that at all, story was ok - 6/10

Overall - Dispatch is a pretty good Telltale game, is it the best one though? no i don't think so, it has many flaws, every character feels meaningless and you really don't get to know them that much at all or their goals. Every character are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that i found no real meaning to care about them through out the entire story, so many of the cast felt never used, it focused on like 2 characters which was invisigirl and flame guy from the main team and i wish direct focus was on the actual team, i still don't know some of them and the game felt short, way shorter i think than any Telltale game, the villian was ok and i think the story is a bit mediocre to it's best, episodes are way to short, decisions don't feel like real ones because it seems like the good choices lead to bad ones, and one thing i don't mind profanity at all but in terms of writing when someone is cursing every 10 seconds it takes you out of it that your more focused on the cursing than the actual sentence they are saying. I also find it poetic how Matt Mercer is the villian since he is the DM in his campagins

Seriously not what i was expecting at all with this game,

i don't think i've ever been hooked into a world and story in the first 5 minutes with just a few text boxes at that door

Not my favorite Resident Evil but it is a hell a lot good, like really good that i recommend anyone even if they haven't play a Resident Evil game before and that's how i got introduced. For completetionists just know you need the dlc to 100% the damn game

SPOILER REVIEW

I streamed the game to my friend because he already played it and i had a blast doing so, i did the same with RE2 remake with him, but during this i was laughing my ass off at the family dinner scene

After playing 6 years later after i first finished it, i realize now why it's not my favorite, half of the game is super good, the baker house all the way up to Luas then the game takes a total 180 on itself and basically just becomes Resident Evil in way i mean giant ass bio weapons that don't fit this game at all where the Jack boss begins with the eyes. Also the mold isn't my favorite either, it's not scary it's just boring, and on with the second half of the game, that it's just heavily scripted the entire time, you don't really need to rely on survival at all, the game keeps you with plenty of ammo even on Madhouse, i would say the weakest point is the boat section and just endgame in general like i have no interest in whats going on anymore, like it's pretty much linear level design all the way through to the end where whatever gun you pick does not matter, like the optional machine gun doesn't matter, it's completely useless because there's only 1 boss left in the game and the final boss is just a scripted mess, like very easy boss you kill in a few hits

I loved the mystery at the start of the game and i wish it kept that all the way through, and the game itself is really short, all RE games are but this one i wish was longer

Again with enemy's, uninteresting and uninspired, just black mold enemy's that's it, that's all your fighting the whole game, no humanoids just mold, and the spider mold is the worst enemy in the game it jumps twice and kill you instantly and is annoying as ♥♥♥♥ to deal with, nothing else to say about them

The humor though was really good, like the whole Baker family is hilarious to watch on screen, i always laugh my ass off at the dinner scene, i was laughing hard when i first saw it in years

Madhouse diffculty was not that hard at all, it was just standered Resident Evil gameplay with ink ribbons, not much difference besides more enemys and more damage delt, and the last section was a breeze and only had trouble on that whole run through hoards of enemys area, the giant fat guys are the worst, they randomly charge and you have no reaction time making you get stun locked which is a major issue in this game

Events are really jank now playing it, like some stuff like for example Mia rising up where Ethan has to slide first to get into position then she springs up and it ruins it and it's really awkward, like some things just don't work correctly and another one is Jack turning you around is super bad because the animation stops for a few seconds because it has to process the cutscene and where it teleports Ethan so he can get into position

Got all collectables on Madhouse and a speedrun achievement surpsirinsly with only 3 minutes to spare only to find out you now need to collect all coins on normal, no wonder why no one 100%'s this game it's annoying as ♥♥♥♥, like why both specifically!? one was enough

SPOILER REVIEW

I can tell you not what i was expecting, i was expecting you as like a engineer and all these robots who are children think they all real, and also i can tell this game is more on the funny side and more walk sim story unlike their other games and i welcome it, and also i was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spoiled because i looked at the replies of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Pixar's Hoppers and some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ really AI generated an image of Soma and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ said "This is the plot of Soma" and spoiling the main ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ plot like what the ♥♥♥♥ dude, how was i suppose to avoid that!? i get spoiled in the most random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ways man it isn't even funny

After finishing it (1:34am 11-2-2025)

It's good, i really enjoyed it, and this one is way more story based where it's a walking sim, think Firewatch and Mouthwashing but this i did really like and i liked the chemistry between Cathrine and Simon. I certainly wasn't expecting story focused type game where it's just a story sim but i will say the monster parts are the worst because they have the worse AI ever where they just camp and never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ leave

I will say the game can be confusing at times on what to do like it's sense of objective like Cathrine would want us to collect a robot core and doesn't say where, so i end up running around for an hour, get an item then go back to her, she says the same thing so i go around for 30 minutes running around and find some battery that i think is it, i go back and she says the same thing then i am like "Why isn't the game telling what i collected?" because there's no names of objects you just pick stuff up and hope it's the objective item, so is spent like another hour because the game wasn't telling me what the thing looks like or where to find it and i eventually find it, wish i knew that 2 hours ago

Main characters design is badass as hell and Simon i do like, i really like his voice because over time you can see how robotic he is, but there is just one thing missing, making him interesting enough for me to care because i didn't really care about Simon that much during the game

Scare level - 1. it wasn't really scary

This game feels like one of those free games you get on steam to get TF2 items for and it feels exactly like that because so far i am bored, yawning to mention, it's one of those where you have to read a bunch of notes to understand the world and story, and so far i am dis-interested on what's going on, it feels like i've seen this setting and combat 100 times and nothing seems engaging as of now because so far i'm just wondering around trying to figure out what to do. I'm not really into this kind of pixel art and i think it's uninteresting, i even forgot why i even got this game i think it was because of twitter or something because i kept seeing a bunch of animations and art for it that looked way more interesting than what i'm playing currently, the first person 3d sections i love the most and wish the whole game was like this, i am more interested in that than the jank walk animation you have to see on your character. I really hope this ages poorly because i hope to god to seeing a good story, it's just clogged with notes and lore right now that i don't care (1:20am 10-31-2025)

Probably the most technically advanced Gold Source game i've played. And i want to give people a tip before playing, DO NOT play on hard, it is actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ impossible to beat because if you run out of ammo and you will in this mode, you will not be able to beat this game, i am dead serious do not waste your time play on normal or easy if you actually want to enjoy the game

SPOILER REVIEW

I played this game probably 8 years ago where i left off at this park or got passed it i don't know but i decided i should put it on my list and play it now and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is really good, like there is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ running!? in a gold source game? actual mechanics like this is crazy

Combat - For the combat i'd say it's jank, it would be really good if every enemy wasn't 100% at maxium speed like jesus christ i have died so many times just because every enemy is just super fast like those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ aliens from Opposing force, it feels like Silent Hill but if every enemy was on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crack, it's so hard to hit them, i wish they were slower

Game has a major balancing issue where even on normal, the game doesn't give you enough weapons or ammo during certain bosses that fly, making the game unbeatable because uh oh you ran out of ammo, like the first flying boss i had to restart my entire game on normal just to kill it because on hard i had ammo but not enough to kill the boss and i do not want to wait in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unskippable cutscene again. Plus every enemy is on max speed that kill you in a few hits, not making it very fun, and there is no impact for the enemy's so i have no idea if i am even hitting my shots and the park section with the shovel has to be the worst in the game so far because every enemy comes at you at once and you have to kill them, wasting ammo because they either clip through the wall or go so fast you don't notice they are next to you

Ok even on normal i was having a really tough time especially the forest metnal hospital segment where the item manangement ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks and i was legit just storing items but i found out later i don't even need to have that many items because the final boss is easy as ♥♥♥♥, and the game is so dark that i can't see ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ so i end up dying so many time (I died a total of 113 by the way)

The game is good, the last section after the subway is pretty rushed, where it felt like they had the idea but didn't know how to end it or even map it out correctly that it's underwhelming, you get new guns at the end but don't end up using them because there is either no ammo or you can't carry it, and evey corridor feels way to tight so you'll end up just dying because you couldn't switch to your weapon in time

Also want to know something, so i played this years ago some random maps or something maybe some mode but rooms where spinning in the void and when you beat it you see Simon kill himself and i have no idea if this is like a post game thing or just a spoiler in this mode but i do not remember getting that far in the main game but whatever that mode was, was weird

There is a lot of padding in this game and i hate it a lot where there is a point you need two fuses so i wonder around and i get to these two pathways i go through one but it had a massive giant and i thought it would insta kill me so i went back in fear, and thought i need to find another way because you know video game stuff, i get the first one then i'm like "Where's the second one?" so i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wonder around for 2 hours and i just look it up and found out it's in the garden area where the giant is, and i thought why the hell would you make the player think that area is blocked off

I am pissed that the good ending isn't the default ending because i thought the bad ending is how the game ended but i saw the good ending and i wish i played it because it looks badass dude and just because i didn't get that i won't rank it higher because i think it's dumb how easy you can just not see that ending and it's a way better ending on how it plays out. And i wish the game had more cutscenes involving Simon's mental state and dive deeper, it's a perfect template to make some amazing cinematic shots

7/10 - It took me 8 years to beat this game
