This game exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only was it incredibly unique and fun in it's combat system but the characters and writing were top notch. Never before have I loved a duo of skeletons as much as I did while playing Undertale. It is genuinely funny and rarely misses a beat for the duration of the story. The music is also outstanding and easily one of the best OSTs of this year.

Having played through both the pacifist and genocide routes, a lot of work has gone into making each playthrough feel different. Genocide feels bare and is mostly grinding with 2 great and difficult boss battles, but pacifist is pure joy. 10 bones is a steal for what is my Game of the Year.
