Getting a little bit into this, I can promise you the controls are booty and its very clunky, but that's kinda the point of this game.

A good free representation of Lunacid and what it is? absolutely not.

A free adaptation/prequel of a game series I've fallen in love with? for absolute sure!

I've had fun with this game even though its so clunky.

Will I give it a shot in completing this game to get more Lunacid story before the old one awoke? Without a doubt. The primal desire for more Lunacid runs through my veins.

This is a passion project, and I will say a great one. Go play Lunacid, go buy Lunacid, you'll have a better time with that one over this one, as it handles completely differently and feels great.

However, If you can stick through the clunky controls, old game system, give this a shot.

Great game, great monetization, the helldivers have pushed back and the decision was reversed.

I still think Sony should make a public apology for even thinking the idea was possible to force onto others.

Regardless of this change though, its a real sour taste in my mouth, Keep vigilant helldivers.

This review will stay up to date as things continue to develop.

You ever want to play a more horror version of Resident Evil 4?

Also, Gatcha mechanics in my RE4 that isn't paid at all, and you earn them?

Fine with me!

Fantastic game, just wow, this is how you do a remake of a game like RE4, it wasn't needed, I could've lived just fine without this game being remade, but I do not dislike this at all, there's some lines that I miss that were silly as heck, but by all means, this is a fantastic remake, play it, buy it, if you can get it on sale, then press the buy button even more at that point in time.

Ultimately, there's not much I can complain regarding this game, its a fun Resident Evil experience, and hardcore mode is quite difficult if you're looking for a difficult experience, hard for me to save ammo.

If you've never played RE4 either version, this isn't a bad place to start, but I do recommend playing the original.

Edit: I've since finished my first playthrough and what a ride that was, from beginning to end.

My second playthrough on professional with the OG music turned on is a nostalgia trip I didn't expect to be having, and here I thought ammo was scarce within base hardcore mode, with no checkpoints and revert to your last save each time, its one hell of a difficult game.

I do not at all dislike this, but if I had any complaints that I'd like addressed is voicelines for each selection within the merchants shop for each category like the original "What're ya buyin'?" "What're ya SELLIN'?" Other than that, this game is an absolute TREAT.

I also wish the classic R.P.D outfit was in here, doesn't seem like it is this time around.

Magnum gives me CHILLS~

Also, don't fall prey to the MTX, please.

Chris Redfield sets up a haunted castle trip within offbrand disneyland for local cutting board/food source Ethan, his wife, and his baby, only to discover the haunted castle staff hasn't been fed in weeks and they've been going out and feeding on the local townies.

Ethan must escape offbrand disneyland while buying his baby a toy from the gift shop, or become a snack for the local employees and dommy mommy.

Least this version of disney is actually magical.

Grab it on a sale, I did, wasn't worth its release price. Got some cool extra content like mercenaries and such, I rate it a fat rat being grabbed out of ten.

As a Resident Evil fan throughout the years, one who holds OUTBREAK File #2 as the pinnacle of the series, this is what I have to say about Resident Evil 6:

I like this game, the controls feel fantastic, its very responsive and its extremely fun without breaking the flow of the game. As a fan of older titles, the story is.... Its quite funny, it tries so hard to take itself seriously, and expects you to as well, I genuinely cannot, and I don't think you can either, fan or not.

The best way I can describe how the controls feel, is it feels like a mix between Resident Evil and Devil May Cry, I tend to call it Devil May Evil, or Resident May Cry. Grab this on a sale, well worth the mercenaries experience, and if you have a friend the story is fun to play too.

I can't really compare this game to any other game in the series because of how much it feels disconnected, but I cannot deny how much fun I had playing it.

Normally, I wouldn't recommend an experience like this based on its name and what I see "Resident Evil" as, but ultimately, its a fun little romp through a funny story that tries so hard and fails at every turn.

As someone who has played Final Fantasy since 3 on the Super Nintendo, I can say this one is a guilty pleasure of mine.

The combat is nothing special, but the small little details from the fishing to the cupholders in your car, I can only say this game is fun and I enjoy it a lot.

Not to mention the customization options for your car and even Chocobo's with more unlocked within Chocobo races(for the Chocobo's that is)!

Otherwise, enjoy finding all of the little soundtracks and liveries scattered across multitudes of stores within the game!

Pick it up on a sale, its well worth a sale price, and if you like roadtrips, this game sure as hell will give you that feeling.

I hope you enjoy the game too should you decide to delve in! Plenty of content and DLC available!

As many people have stated, basically Tony Hawk's Pro boater with guns and a constant quest for cash.

With this in mind, this is a fantastic game with synthwave and really tight controller controls.

If you genuinely like THPS gameplay mixed with shooting, with a story that doesn't take itself seriously, I highly recommend picking this up at its current price, it's well worth the ride, not to mention the cool physical prizes you can win for participating in the monthly events!

The Synthwave dream I never knew I wanted.

I really wish I could give this a more middleground recommendation.

While I love the lore, and some of the mechanics are neat, not to mention the combat system is not a typical WOW-like tab targeting system, which I love, there's just no dialogue substance.

Sure, I can get different dialogue options here and there, but it just doesn't seem fleshed out, there's parts of the lore I know and I wish I could give a better answer than questioning everything, I still think this is a good elder scrolls game in its own right, even with its frustrating restrictions.

My frustrations however, very much stem from the like 14 EULA's you have to agree to, which may be over-exaggerated, but that's what it felt like when attempting to utilize the website and the client itself. While the MTX store isn't "in your face" sometimes, it does feel like it when it pops up randomly, its gotten to pop up less so now, but I wasn't having a good time. You can't drop items inworld, or loot corpses like past elder scrolls games, which makes me sad.

After a few hours in and getting pulled in with the lore and gameplay however, I can say that I would recommend this game if I had to choose and have no middleground answer, but if any of this doesn't sound good to you, i'd avoid this or wait for a sale like I did.

TL;DR
If you're a elder scrolls lore buff and want a non-traditional MMO experience, this may be worth it to you outside of EULA privacy concerns.

Otherwise, wait for a sale, or pass this entirely.

Edit: as I play this more I have begun to find the game cozy, its a very cozy mmo.

An absolutely fantastic game.

As a person who's been a fan of Madness and its flash videos as well as flash games since its beginning on Newgrounds, I can say, this game plays and feels exactly how you think it would if you know what Madness is.

If you do not however, best way I can describe this game is its a beat-em-up with guns meant to make you feel like a badass, and this game really amplifies that, so many different guns, so many different melee weapons, the gore, the feeling of the game, all of it feels just right regarding its controls.

If you don't know what Madness is, give this a try if you like games similar to what I've described, I'm glad I didn't pass this game up, it meets all expectations, and exceeds them further than that, well worth each dollar.

Additionally, never underestimate the utility of a pew-pew laser gun.

Early Access Review
I absolutely adore this game, while I am a fair bit biased as I play a lot of KIRA games, if you haven't ever played King's Field or Shadow Tower, or even games similar to those, but have played previous KIRA games, I can say this feels like a very fleshed out version of Lost In Vivo's Midnight Mode, which may have been a "alpha" or "concept" of this game before this game was further conceived.

If you enjoy a solid feeling dark fantasy RPG with that sick VHS synthwave style and a really fantastic horror soundtrack that makes the entire experience feel really surreal as you're delving through dungeons in a semi-open world/open dungeon, I can tell you this feels fantastic to play, and really fun, I genuinely cannot wait for the full release.

Your work is not for nothing KIRA, thank you for bringing to us a game like this, I no doubt can't wait to see more, and see what funny secret modes you put in later!
