　Good people are silenced by a system that doesn’t allow them to speak their own opinions, the ones that open the eyes of those blinded by the lies of people in power. We have freedom of speech, but you can’t speak words of truth, which makes us prisoners of our own law and of those who benefit from it. Years fly by, people change for the worse, blaming everything on social media, but the truth is that we are going back to the beginning, repeating the same mistakes as our ancestors – history should exist to teach us the truth, not to repeat it.

　In today’s times, newer generations pass on values their parents once spoke against. Words like love, loyalty, justice, and freedom have lost their meaning, being used by manipulative people chasing their own goals. Personally, I know people who say that if war broke out today, they would leave, because they don’t give a f*ck and won’t fight for the rulers. In part, they’re right, but when you stand to fight, it’s not only about the heads of state (who usually run away like cowards anyway) – the most important thing is human life, innocent life. So if I had to sacrifice my own just to protect the weak, I would do it and stand to fight for freedom, which nowadays should be untouchable. Freedom should be taken from those who commit crimes, not from innocent civilians who suffer because of conflicts between presidents. I understand families who want peace and don’t want to spill blood, but when my peer – a coward who has nothing in life anyway – could sacrifice himself for the good of others instead of being a f***ing deserter… that’s different.

　Though moving away from the topic of wars and patriotism, as a society we should focus on fixing ourselves. We started normalizing things that should never exist. The behavior of youth goes beyond every social norm – kids drink alcohol because they think it makes them cool and use it as an excuse to forget their problems. Let’s not even start with drugs, moving on to the worst issue – people. The biggest problem right now. For example: how can you judge someone for wearing cheaper clothes? If he feels good in them or that’s all his parents can afford, then why the f*ck do you care? Insulting someone only makes you “cool” in the eyes of idiots. Same with normalizing f***ing around with whoever – something that should stay private and intimate has become trophies and income for some people. There are many more issues I haven’t even written down yet, and the ones here I only touched lightly.

　I’m not saying everyone is “corrupted,” but the behaviors I described above are what I’ve observed in the last few years – in short, human apathy. I know there are still good people who help others, and thanks to them there’s still hope for balance between good and evil in humanity. But I fear that with each new generation it will only get worse, and our children will commit crimes we can’t even imagine yet.

　This whole text is just my personal opinion, which doesn’t really matter, and everyone has the right to disagree with it, because everyone sees the world differently – some with blinders on.
