Not great, but not a complete waste of money. Release and current state still sub-par for quality control, content lacking wait a bit and pick up on sale unless you are really itching to play a new civ.

Post launch DLC hella overpriced if they charge the same price for future ones without it also coming with meaningful changes game will die and not even a huge 4x fan like me will stick around for the long haul.
