If you want a simple MMO RPG without any such thing as a subscription, microtransactions, or terrible development policy then this could be a good game for you to try out. It's still in it's early days, but for only $10 I'd say it's a steal to just try out and have fun with either alone or with friends.

I only expect more fun content to get released for the game as it does seem like quite the passion project. I'm super stoked to see what can come of it to.

A really solid little game to spend time on for a random weekend. There is nothing to lose with playing this, would definitely recommend.

This game is everything I could've ever hoped for waiting all of these long years. The music is better than ever, the gameplay just has so much more to offer, and everything just feels like there is more of it. More items, more exploration, more movesets, more enemies, more bosses, even more difficulty.

I will say, the early game was a bit of a tough nut to crack at first and in terms of people complaining, I can understand that. However, once I got my first needle upgrade and reached the start of mid-game, a lot of that disappeared. It is still difficult, but those early game hangups weren't around as much anymore.

If you can get through the early game without much issue, then the rest of it is an amazing time. Even then, the early game is still great too, just a bit more difficult than expected is all.

I had at least 30 hours in the demo and unlocked just about everything in the forest. The EA release basically adds 3-4x more content which will seemingly only grow with time. For about $9, I'd say this game is already a steal with how much content for a rogulite is already available. The best part being that it should only grow further and further as time goes on.

Basically, you should buy this game now if you can. If you like Hades, Risk of Rain 2, or any related roguelite, you'll like this game and it's satisfying systems as well.

I managed to get my hands on all three games, but now having played the first one all the way through, I can say that it's pretty solid. It has quite a few bugs, and a few of the stages can be a bit more frustrating than others. However, I would say the overall experience is a positive one. Yet another entry I get to add to the "directly inspired by retro games list" with Bug Fables and Eastward.

Out of many Metroidvanias out there, this one definitely has some solid gameplay for not being well known. It has some rough spots sure, but it really does give an authentic feeling of that retro style that the genre was defined with.

The soundtrack, composed by Monomer, is definitely the main selling point for me personally and also how I discovered the game, but the game itself, while short, is still a nice game to spend an afternoon or two on for the sake of it. Kind of like a similar title, Gato Roboto, that I've also played. I would suggest that one too.

I have only played a little and still have many a secret to uncover, but this game definitely scratches that exploration itch that I've been looking for since Environmental Station Alpha. (Look it up, it's made by one of the people helping with Noita)

Overall a refreshing experience, can't wait to discover even more!

It's an idle game that doesn't last forever. This is a good thing, not a bad one.
