Wasn't going in expecting a whole lot, but man is this game a blast. 200 people in lobby with localized voip is a perfect combo for max chaos and fun. Its honestly a more chill version of Hell Let Loose, where it doesn't feel like a running simulator. You jump right into the action and have a fun time building trench networks with the homies.

First twelve hours are pretty good. Honestly I have not been a big fan of extraction shooters, but this game kept me coming back for some reason, not sure if it's because of the colorfully chaotic (and very cyberpunk corpo) art style or because of how good the gunplay feels, but after the server slam I came back and they actually took into account what players didn't like and the game feels quite good now. Hopefully we get more content to keep us going through the next weeks, months, years. Looking forward to Marathon's future.

This game is fun, but man is it a time suck, also don't get eaten by a worm like I did. You legit lose everything. Even if they spawn right on you and there's nothing you can do, it's gone. Too bad so sad, grind for 5-6 more hours just to get your stuff back.

Went into this game a bit skeptical. Actually had a really fun time playing it. Sure not every run is going to be great, but every run is a chance to improve, learn more, and try out different random builds. It's pretty much just faster paced Elden Ring, and I'm not going to complain about having some more Elden Ring content to play, even if it plays a bit differently from the main game.

Initial negative take:
They slowed down the movement and made the lancers wayy more expensive for f2p players. You have to really grind to get one character. The slower game play and clunky feeling of the game currently makes the grind to get a new character frankly not worth it. Certain lancers are also somewhat useless in comparison to other lancers, making a small portion of the roster not even worth grinding for. Plus if the enemy team gets the bullet blocking Katana card the round is just over for your team. Idk how they managed to make the game kind of unfun after the success of the beta tests, but they did. They practically nerfed their own game.

Positive Edit - Maybe I was a little too harsh. The game is fun and they basically gave me two free characters on the second day of playing. I also learned how to play some of the characters and the game a little more, making it more fun and easier to play. I think Fragpunk just needs a little time to adjust and flesh itself out a bit more. Hopefully the game gets the chance to do that and not die immediately like other games of this genre have in the past. I'm looking forward to seeing what the game will turn into.

Wow! They couldn't monetize the game properly and made everyone pay for characters. Now they're shutting it all down after people spent actual money and time unlocking characters and cosmetics. All your time and money was wasted. All for naught. What a great business practice. Hats off to WB.

Absolutely loving this game. Far better than Overwatch. These devs really respect the players and it shows. They are very tuned into what the community has to say about the game, and they don't waste your time with FOMO grind or grinding out all of the characters on the roster. All around a very fun game!

Very fun! It's kind of like a chill version of Diablo 4, that's more fun and costs way less. It's like if Diablo 4 and WEBFISHING had a baby with nostalgic graphics and break core beats thrown into the mix. Definitely recommend everyone give this a try.

Sure there's a grind. Atleast it's fun though.
