Great game but the story of President Tyrannosaurus wanting to kidnap all the teens is lame. Could have made a great Let's Not Meet game out of this.

It's pretty good. Will take time to learn new game dynamics but the larger map gives it life.

Improved building system (8 slots instead of 6 is more realistic). Nice.

Movement range within one's own territory isn't realistic. Should be much higher.

Such a stupid game.

Play as Uganda. Conquer some neighbours. Want to conquer more neighbours. Can no longer declare war on neighbours or damage relations with them or declare an interest. Can only declare war on factions I don't even share a border with.

Update:
Play as USA. Going well for a long time. High radicals despite having some of the greatest standard of living in the world. A 10% temporary decrease in standard of living = what seems like a permanent 1000% increase in radicals.

Is it an improvement over Men of War AS2? Yes it is.I had no idea the single player would be this good.

It's a great game and there is a greater room for improvement via mods vs Rome 2.

Best zombie game.

Game of the year. Much more relaxing than WOT and WT.

Give them your money and buy full price because they deserve it.

It's a horrible game and you don't realise its horrible until its too late and you've wasted hours. Take the "Aggressive Expansion" feature. You'd think that if you conquered huge amounts of land successfully your people would be happy, that they would be grateful. This is not the case in Imperator Rome. Whenever you conquer a territory your population gets p*ss*d off as f**k. Not the population that you have just conquered...the population that you conquered 100 years prior and converted to your culture/religion. This means you can't pull off large conquests like Caesar or Alexander the Great. You can't even conquer Carthage or Macedon in one go. You have to fight them over a span of at least 3 different wars. You cannot conquer Gaul or Spain or any other region in a single go. If you like grindy games then go for it because you can't do anything quickly in this game (but the AI can). Make war...conquer...make peace...wait for your truce to expire then make war again. Boring.

Update: June 9-2020:
Not as bad as I originally thought and quite enjoyable but still needs work.
Some ideas for improvement:
-Rome needs a buff
-Seleucid empire needs a nerf
-Slider buttons to move between region screens
-Effects of AE are too great
-Should have the option of changing your flag
-Should have the ability implement the previous innovation without first having to implement the later innovation

Review for Ground Forces:
>Don't play if you don't have a very large screen
>Elite players kill everything
>Not fun being one shot
>Enjoy being shot from the other side of the map (need a large screen to do this)
>The lower the graphics the easier it is to shoot tanks (tip)
>Some tanks are OP but not as bad as WOT
>Physics feel odd
>Grind now takes a very, very long time
>Installed again after two years and the game has gotten worse

Fun, mindless game. Has aged well.
