I don't normally write reviews for games, but I had to for this game. Keeping in mind that this game is currently in early access, even now it has the foundations to be in the level of already released games of the same type. The difficulty can be set to have a real change against the AI enemy, or if you want to play a chilled game, developing a settlement, you have that option too.

2 things, I want to see in the future of this game. 1) Vertical dynamics: I love the landscape of the maps, however I wish that there were more hills, so that you are able to create choke points and create amazing cities, from different heights. 2) Multiplayer, I mean there isn't much more to add in. This game would be amazing as a 4v4 of 2v2, being able to utilise the trading system between boundaries I think would be great. I've spend a 17 hour session of this game on my own, I could only imagine what playing this with friend would be like. I think that I could honestly put several weeks into a single game. I currently stream this in to the discord channel with my other friends who play, and long wish to be able to play with them.

I don't normally play games like this, however from a small developer, in my opinion, this is the best game that I have played not only this year, but in a very long time.
