It's fun and creative, albeit short. Wait for a sale, pull up a stream on the side, and type away. Great soundtrack, good writing.

Didn't even get to try the game, EAC kept crashing it. Only worked with seamless coop and I couldn't queue with that, so what's the point in playing?

I ignored the reviews and figured it would be fine if I just turned off ray-tracing, and it was, until I got into the open world. Despite loading all the shaders beforehand, they still took ages to load in. The worst part is, by the time it got to the point it was unbearable, I had already played more than two hours so I couldn't refund it. Don't make my mistake, and don't touch this game. TN is notorious for putting out their terribly optimized games, and this is arguably the worst so far. The stutters, slow motion issues that haven't been fixed since NIOH 1, and awful loading issues make this just a massive disappointment, considering how fun the parts I actually got to play were.

As of posting this review, I haven't played the game for very long but it's genuinely amazing at what it tries to do. It takes a classic slasher using a video game as a medium and does it perfectly in a way that something like a movie or book can't reproduce. You've probably heard about this game from youtube, but videos don't really cover the raw terror that surviving and exploring the hotel has with this goofy villain. Yes, the game has a lot of jumpscares, but I think the way they're built up make them perfectly A-OK.

Honestly probably my favorite rhythm game for years to come. My only complaint is that at the end of the game, it seems to drag things out a bit. Amazing music, fun characters, great theming. Definitely worth the price.

Big chunk killed me.

Generally a fun game, especially so with friends. The story is a bit annoying and forced, general gameplay is fun. If you play, MAKE SURE you get the skippable cinematic mod.
