2 decades on and the original Company of Heroes still belongs in the echelon of RTSes.

This game and the people I played it helped me through lockdown and it's gotten better since then.

The sheer variety in mishaps, misfortune & monsters that can leave you stranded at the bottom of the running low on air struggling to reach some distant outpost is something to behold.

"Are you not entertained?", you best hope they are or your going to struggle to last very long in the arena.

Incredibly replayable & feels a very original game. Plays well on the deck too.

You have to buy the previous 2 games just to get the full experience, this wouldn't be so bad if the game itself was much more than an expansion on the previous 2.

Mechanically it's solid but it doesn't add anything hugely new and at £50 basic price I can't say it's good value for money.

Lovely characters, boss fights feel well fleshed out. Endless replay value with ever changing maps. Death is cheap.

Actually that last part is a lie. Death is a lovely fellow.
