EGS has more Content but its building is rather basic. There are no mechanical blocks like piston, rotor ect... As long as i know there is also no conveyor system and also no block deformation.
However, EGS has lots of npc's and a more complex survival gameplay (with hunger and thirst ect).
It's hard to compare those 2 games, but i still prefer to play SE and don't even know exactly why ;)
