Simple, fun and extremely effective to relax!

This game truly lives up to the hype.
It is taking the best of its inspirations genra JRPG and souls like to create a beautiful world.
Everything from characters, to soundtrack, to bosses, world building, aesthetics is close to flawless.
If you have played final fantasy X and havent felt as strongly about a game since then, you'll definitely love expedition 33.
I'll be as obsessed and emotional with the music of this game as I have been with those of final fantasy for years (cannot not get teary eyes when hearing "To Zanarkand").

Not fun at all, badly balanced (some upgrade cost a lot and don't provide anything worthwile while other are simply broken for minimal cost).
Very short and basically no gameplay whatsoever.

I adore this game (as you can see by my playtime) but can't recommend it today. The game has been plagued for more than 2 years with more cheaters than I ever seen in any online game and the most toxic players I've had the displeasure to meet.
Rare is doing exactly nothing to address this, until this change there's plenty of better game out there to play.

Excellent and refreshing take on the battle royal genre.
Ship fight is varied with several ship to choose from (well attributed at random each game, which is a good thing as it forces you to adapt your strategies every time)

Best one-stick shooter roguelite I've played in a while!
The cast of characters is very diverse and really change gameplay drastically from one run to another.

A lot of fun and pretty easy to take up for casual or non-gamer.
We're having a blast playing it with my wife.

An awesome concept!
A small kind of metroidvania, the only downside is that it's fairly quick to finish, but I enjoyed every minutes of it.

Really fun little game. You've got 4 rooms for just a couple €.
I recommend it for anyone who like escape rooms.

One of the best game of its genre.
It's a bit more accessible than other (great) games of zachtronics (like TIS) for non-computer nerd but it still scratch this itch for computer geek really good. :)
The story and immersion is also a bit more polished than the previous games from Zachtronics.
