Meh. It's got some replayability I guess.

Every time I say "Doomslayer", the song BFG-10000 starts playing and it's so loud it hurts my ears, send help.

This game is the worst kind of frustrating.

The concept is super fun, a real breath of fresh air for multiplayer games. The problem is the devs could not be bothered to do a good job. What little they do change in patches come at a glacial pace. Glitches that affect everyday play are STILL untouched even after months (almost a year for some) of their presence.

Do not buy this game, it is near the end of it's life, and if the devs wanted to make an effort, they would have a long time ago.

Awful, I have never even used singleplayer mods yet its all time and money wasted because of this ban. I was so hyped for this game when it first came out on 360, I was stupid enought to buy it for three seperate systems. Like all the other
developers I used to idolize as a kid for the fantastic games they made, you've aged from wine to vinegar.

Up yours Rockstar, I'm boycotting every game with your name on it from now on.

Fun game at first but once you get out of the the low level servers you will be constantly abused by high level ballerinas, if your game becomes boring once you remove high level play "tactics" like a 180 degree spin backwards overhead from a Maul, then your current concept of balance is flawed inherantly.

Oovee is a company of scumbags taking credit for all the hard work Pavel did to make this game great. Do not buy this game.

If you want to buy this game: Buy Mudrunner. It's the EXACT same game with more content and far better support. As a bonus The ACTUAL developer will be compensated if you buy Mudrunner, not a bunch of ripoff artists!

This can be a fantastic game, but the base offered by CA is quite lacking in my opinion (Not to say it is bad, but for what you get base game-wise I would say Shogun 2 is a much better option).That being said, the community just didn't feel like letting the sequel to the best total war game ever made rot, and have done an amazing job making sure it is as good as it should have been. The crew behind Divide Et Impera has done a particulary fantastic job. DEI has made a game I reggretted buying into one of my most played steam games, to those fine folk, I say thank you.


TL;DR:

Base: 5/10 maybe when its a sale

With Divide Et Impera: 10/10 would lead the sons of Rome to conquer the world again.
