This is the first review of this game on steam, so I want to leave useful feedback.

I think the game has cool potential
I'll start by saying this isn't my usual type of game, so some aspects that I criticize may be intentional, and just not to my exact taste.
The very few bullets before reload makes each shot count, and when the targets move after being hit, ends with a situation where I'm standing there waiting to reload. the vertical lines are also very hard to judge, and hard to avoid. it seemed to work to mostly ignore them. i think the game would be a lot more fun with a machine gun, and Epic Swag mode increases fire rate and magazine capacity. the four or so bullets before reload, and three of them having to hit each target, made it feel like i spent a lot of time in each room lining up the shots, as opposed to running and gunning.
This may just be personal taste, but the side strafing speed seemed high. usually id use it to line up my shots, but it seemed too touchy and slidey for that. something in the aiming seemed floaty as well, like theres motion smoothing that makes it hard to aim as well.
even after playing the tutorial, there were many times i died without knowing why. the beeping when you need to collect a core seems like an extremely short timer. i'll be nowhere near one, a few beeps and my run is over before i can kill an enemy.
i think it could be really fun to have a menu to disable and enable different aspects of the game, adjusting the difficulty. another weapon type, like a machine gun would add to the chaotic aesthetic too.
on death, feedback might be nice, for example, it could say "you died by X"
a field of view slider in the settings would be nice to have as well.

In its current state, i dont feel its quite worth it's $10 price tag, but it literally came out yesterday.
I want it to do well, which is why im writing this.

I'd like to end by saying I really like the sound design, and visual aesthetic of the game. it gives a very Merzbow+Rezz digital trip through cyberspace sort of vibe, and thats something i find very cool.

This game is a little rough around the edges. The graphics are not terrible (except for viewmodels) and its infamously buggy. BUT~ The atmosphere is still the best i've ever experienced from a videogame. This game can still make me sh!t my pants, and it is absolutely worth a play if you're on the fence about it.

Early Access Review
best game for realistic driving, with good weight transfer physics. The crash physics are great but everyone already knows about that. i like the details in this game, like static friction vs kinetic friction, and other things that are often forgotten. if you want a realistic experience, i think this is the best way to go. Its also is updated frequently and has superb mod support. the capabilities really are endless. 10/10 imo

this is the best half-life game to date. it absolutely lives up to the hype. the story is amazing. if you were worried that the soundtrack wouldnt be half-lifey enough, it is. its all amazing. the ending made me cry. this game, is absolutely worth 13 years of waiting. a true 10/10. Without a doubt game of the year material. not just vr game of the year. I wish i could nominate it for labor of love too, because i cant even imagine the work that went into this for all these years. everything is so well refined into an amazing experience

Best gta game in my opinion. The car physics, the shooting, the story, and the small details are all great. Better than gta 5. This game has a great aesthetic, and good graphics for the time.

Pure joy. The only thing I dislike is the distance between the save points. It seems that when you leave the game and come back, it puts you at the beginning of the chapter. It kinda sucks if you got halfway through the chapter but don't complete it all the way. Also the sandbox being unlocked after the full story kinda makes me wish the story was over sooner so I could do sandbox things. It's definitely the best vr game I've played, but wishing the story was over isn't a good feeling to have while playing.

Edit: You don't have to beat the game to get sandbox technically, so its alright. Also, if you enjoy surreal memes, you'll definitely like this game for that aspect. It has mentions of "tHE vOiD" and other surreal things.
