So, if you’re cool with downloading NetEase and letting it run in the background... well, you’ve made a logical choice, right? What could possibly go wrong? I mean, I did my research. Thoroughly. The anti-cheat is... what’s the word I’m looking for? Robust? Kernel level access for anti-cheats is definitely a good thing. Definitely, after months of trying to avoid disclosing the access, using the specific wording in the updated guidelines as a "See, it's ok.".

Anyway, if you’re into team-oriented games, this one's definitely checking a couple boxes for you. And if you're into those... oversaturated and flashy movie tropes that have been "extremely popular" for the past couple decades... welcome to RIVALS! You’re gonna love it here, truly. Oh, and if cheaters are your thing you don’t have to worry because you’ll find a nice and inviting home in the competitive lobbies.

Now here’s the thing with a free game like MR: the risk/reward ratio just doesn't add up for me. All we’re getting is lobby after lobby full of players who’ve learned how to exploit the game’s vulnerabilities with zero consequence. You're not just facing the occasional cheater here; you're up against those actively studying cheats and trying their best to hide the evidence. It’s almost... professional the commitment to not improving yourself or your game-sense.

I played. I solo-climbed to the top 1%. Honestly? It’s better there, but mostly because the people who know what they’re doing are finally starting to balance things out.

So, take your pick. Keep supporting these predatory business models and questionable information gathering practices... or don’t. I did for awhile while they muddied the waters, using Steams "voluntary op-in" for disclosure to try and get root access to as many systems as possible.

I mean, why else do you think it's Marvel for *SCREAMING BALD EAGLE* sake?

OG Paragon player, back before Epic threw it to the curb for Fortnite. The game had plenty of issues then, but... this is a joke.

You pay for a game that is more unpolished than Paragon when it shut down. The developers are just taking everyone's money and this will never be a fully realized polished game, not unlike Star Citizen.

Waste your time elsewhere without lining the pockets of some schmucks who aren't actually in it for a real game.

OG Paragon player. Not even worth the words.

EDIT***

Worth the words.

Still not worth playing. The community is borderline dead, and really it's awful people actively trolling in any way they can. It's genuinely concerning how many people lose any resemblance to a sapient being while playing... whatever weird semi-sapient humanoid things these are.

Games semi-balanced. Carry or cry.

Still, don't play.

This game could be great, but the bottom line here is the Devs are garbage and so completely out of touch, all of them should find a different field to work in.

Game is dope, devs are spending a good amount of time talking to and listening to the players. Definitely recommend!
