To be completely honest, I could criticise things like the supposed plot, the disappointing casting choices, or whatever else you've already heard almost thousand times, but I want to talk about something more true to this specific demo.

Since Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, real-time combat in the Like a Dragon series has used the camera designed for the turn-based games. This has heavily impacted my experience playing both it and this demo. The combat feels... less enjoyable. The spark that brought me to Yakuza just isn't here anymore because the camera has felt like an additional challenge in this demo, especially after playing Lost Judgment to see if I'm imagining things or not.

Do you like trust games like Trouble in Terrorist Town?
Do you like creating images from ragdolls and other props?
Do you like messing around with friends with weapons?
Do you like games like pictionary?
Do you like creating a sled in a set amount of time to race to the bottom?
Do you like creating images of a sexual nature?
Then this game is for you!

Do you like waiting?
Then this game is still for you!

Unless you want to navigate the horribly dated community server browser, there's no world where this is a game I can recommend. But hey, at least Valve still gets that key money.
