John Carpenter's left 4 dead has charm and a skill tree. Some players would be nice.

Pros: Good looking game (if you have the hardware for it), voice acting, level design, combat (at-times), and the story actually isn't too bad and gets better over time.

Cons: Writing, wonky frustrating combat, and the fact that this game struggles on a 3090. I had to put it down and wait until I had a 5090 to play it. It's very playable ... if you have the hardware.

Final thoughts: It's a fun entertaining beautiful but flawed game that could have used more time in development or after release support. If you have the hardware for it AND it's on a DEEP sale, it's worth a play through.

3v3 isn't casual. It requires communication and people who know what they are doing or at least try. Most reviews are less than 1 hr. 15 mins of training, que (esp on day 1) and then 1 game IF THAT. FTP game that's non-casual... ya that's not gonna work. The maps aren't too big, the people saying as much just never actually played the game. Should there be some mobs in the middle or something, probably. It's a MOBA lite but then it's lacking stuff like mobs or jungle etc. 5v5 mode announced and it just seems to prove my point, 3v3 isn't casual. I'm sure most of the negative reviews are people who didn't play, or didn't like the non-casual environment. 5v5 might be better, but I'm not sure the game in general is good for solo-que. A non-casual FPS moba-lite ... solo que? No thx. Maps are big but not too big. I mean they needed an excuse to have mounts, and then it gives people a chance to steal the shield breaker. The people saying the maps are too big are dumb af and prob just didn't play or didn't try to understand the gameplay loop. I mean if 90% of ppl are casual players... in general the game wasn't for them at the time. It'll be in the hands of the devs to better tune it for casuals in mind, otherwise the game goes no where and the plug is pulled in 3 months give or take. Probably less.

Story can be a little convoluted and overly complicated at times, but otherwise a very enjoyable game. It's probably one of my favorite JRPG's off all time at this point. It's just really good. Combat is very enjoyable although on normal you do tend to feel a little over powered at times.

Worth a playthrough if only to clear fox holes in nam with gary oldman and ice cube.

Wow. Pleasantly surprised and very impressed. This got looked over due to playing Titanfall 2 and some other games at the time. I didn't like the multiplayer but I also originally only had this for ps4. This game def feels better on a modern PC. Crank it up to ultra and let her rip. I actually just wide eyed said wow a few times playing this dang game. Ultra wide and ultra settings the campaign looks great, plays like most on rails cod campaigns but shines above several other in my recent memories. I'd say top 5 campaigns for sure. I thought the star fox style missions were fun and sometimes a little janky but just a nice way to mix it up. Sadly this rarely goes on sale and even when it does it's at best 50% off, but even so... campaigns worth it. Zombies sadly just sits at the looking for teams. I had one other player and it just didn't start without filling and it never filled. You can play solo zombies and apparently with friends (what are those?) if they have it too (no cross play tho womp womp). So my experience is solely based on campaign and tiny bit of solo zombies. Worth it on sale for sure. Esp if you have a gpu from and the past 5 years. You'll be impressed with how good it looks. I think it even supports 4k? I didn't check on the TV but it looked amazing at 3440x1440. Some of the cut scenes in game are cut to 21:9 but it just goes right back to wide screen when it's done. For story and some futuristic cod fun, it's a good time. It's no Titanfall or Titanfall 2, but it's worth a revisit and a play through.

On a deep sale it's worth a try. Xbox 360 era modern title with some 360 era jank left in. On rails 3rd person action game. Some interesting... difficulty spikes and sometimes downright annoying gameplay. Cut scenes range from good to decent to mostly bad. At least they tried. It's fun but also very frustrating at times.

Little slower, little less movement... but for a doom fan, it's still worth a play through. Not sure if it's worth 70 bucks, I'd just go get gamepass and play it that way. BUT if it's on sale or down to 30-40 bucks, then I'd say get it. Otherwise, gamepass.

Kinda sloppy mish mash. marvelwatch. not balanced, but gameplay is polished etc. No role que means plenty of cruddy lobbies of insta lock dmg players. crummy battle pass progression and unlocks, etc. Rest of game and gameplay is good though. Skins and art work are on point. Voice acting is killer. Overall a very entertaining and FUN experience.

Still fun. Fond memories. I hope more people pick this up and play it. Servers are fine for south texas.
