A return to classic RTS gaming. Lots of easter eggs and references to old C&C games. Just nice to play a single player RTS game that feels like the devs really cared about what they were making. 10/10 can't wait for DLC or a sequel to see what happens with the story.

Disclaimer: I cannot play horror games, but love suspenseful games like Subnautica. I loved the first 75% or so of this DLC. Maybe even more than the original game with its easy to follow story, suspenseful environment, and lower reliance on 3D platforming skill. But I felt immediately betrayed when the game forces you into an area that is deliberately meant to scare you (activating the reduced frights option actually warns you that you are trying to circumvent an intended mechanic). And I cannot finish this. Which is immensely frustrating that this dlc completely switches genres on you like that. Cannot recommend based on the (great) base game. If you like spooky horror puzzles, this is for you.

Great new RTS game, not a lot of new stuff in the genre these days so its awesome to see one crafted with such care and dedication. Lots of fun!

It's a true-to-scale space sim. This is both its strength and weakness. I like it.

Played about half of the original Half Life before I got frustrated and stopped playing. Black Mesa makes it so much more playable and a pretty fun experience. Even hunted down most of the achievements for fun. Extremely detailed, and encountered no bugs.

Great game, fun gunplay, starfighting, and team combat. Main downside is the playerbase. Just not very popular, though at peak time there's usually a full game. Would definitely recommend picking up if you've got some friends to play with.

Overall this is a wonderful game, and well worth the purchase in its current state. Main storyline is almost complete, gameplay is very smooth and runs really well without major bugs, and the game is incredibly immersive and realistic. The detail in the water and how the game feels is very nice. I highly reccommend buying this game if you're into survival games, and the strong and compelling storyline means the gameplay isn't very repetitive. 10/10
