A beautiful re-imagining of NieR Replicant, with added quests and content, remixed music, and new story beats making it a memorable experience for people who played the OG and new players alike.

Oh, and it's still just as gut-wrenching as the original Replicant/Gestalt. Because Yoko Taro.

(Devola and Popola did nothing wrong!!)

Want to start an Intergalatic Empire?

Want to be like the Borg, Tyranids, Xenomorphs, or the horde? You can do that.

Super fun game, with nice mechanics to keep you immersed. Be a diplomat, warrior, scientist, evangelical.. Any and all. Conquer planets, build super-weapons.. on and on.

I'd definitely recommend this to any 4x, RTS, space, or sci-fi fans.

Updated my old review from 2018.

One of the most poignant and meaningful games I have played, hands down.

A sequel to NieR Replicant/Gestalt, but stands out on it own without needing to play the previous games. On the surface, yeah there's very conventionally attractive characters and creative liberties were taken in that department.

With that said, the game is rich in philosophy and questions on morality and meaning in life, and personal stories that can hit close to home or resonate with you. The first time I ever played it, that is what ended up hooking me. I still love this game so very, very much even now.

Ahhh. The original Mass Effect. The game that started an amazing trilogy (And.. a not so amazing spinoff title)

The game just turned 10 years old recently, but it still is one of my favorite games.. period. Listening to the soundtrack floods me with a lot of emotions, almost entirely positive. Each time I start a new run, I still feel excitement and happiness like I did my first time. It still holds up fairly well, given its age. The storytelling, and RPG elements are still as good as ever, but the combat and overall movement mechanics are less polished. But, the whole idea of *your* own Shepard, one that you can shape in almost any way you want, to be a paragon of virtue, or a brutal renegade, or somewhere in between, that certainly helps make up for it.

I've done multiple playthroughs, occasionally changing it up but mostly staying the same, and yet, I still find new stuff each time, and find enjoyment in it. Nothing like going down and having a 10 minute "Shepard." "Wrex" back and forth conversation.

Overall? I recommend this game, for anyone who likes RPGs, with lasting effects in the following games. This game brought me much happiness, and a care for the characters, and NPCs you meet along the way. Definitely pick it up, on sale, or off sale. You won't regret it.

I'd be lying if I said this game wasn't amazing. If you love a somewhat linear but good story based game, definitely pick this up. For the best experience however, I recommend picking up the first Mass Effect and playing it before going through this to give you better sense of the story and some of the people you will meet.

Now that enough time has passed, I believe i am able to write a guide on my experience with Dark Souls III.

I won't go too in depth with this review, but i will point out a few things that i liked/disliked

Liked :

1. I personally enjoyed many of the callbacks to Dark Souls 1 however, I believe this game could've used more from 2 as well.
2. The weapon infusion and upgrade system work as a refined version of DS1 and DS2's and that was a good call in my opinion.
3. The overall map exploration and general locations i believe have been some of the best in the Souls series, while some areas could've been much, much more (looking at you, Profaned Capital.)
4. The theme of the game has taken on a DS1 mount with its hopeless and tragically beautiful world, and I for one love that style.

Now on to what I personally disliked in this game.

Dislikes :

1. No classic poise, it may not be that big of a deal but it gets rid of a lot of heavy armor sets true potential, seeing as an Estoc can stunlock a player wearing a full Black Iron Set...

2. Another complaint on PVP, I believe that they should undo the invasion removal upon boss defeat, but instead, do what DSII:SoTFS did and make it so you can burn an item to temporarily disable it.

Overall Opinion?

I absolutely love this game even with its flaws and i am very excited for the upcoming DLCs.

I bought this game three years ago with high hopes of a new survival horror game. The screenshots and previews we had seen were amazing and I couldn't be happier, Then I had soon found out that this was essentially a Pay2Win. To get good gear you literally had to purchase it, From purchasing cosmetics to equipment it was a very tedious and non fun experience. Even with them changing the game and updating it, I still feel conned. They banned me from their forums when i asked why my account was locked out and they refused to refund the $40 i payed when it first came out. Despicable.

First this tool was used by Valve as its movie maker for Left 4 dead and TF2! Now all of us can use this tool! I haven't gotten the hang of it quite yet, But it's a marvelous tool i love very much! It's something new for movie making for sure.
I rate this 9.5/10

A very good game. It's a game that I strongly recommend. The co-op Is very vun. And the singleplayer has multiple chapters to play leaving hours of fun. And its graphics are excellent. It Has a really good ending, And I really recommend this to anyone who wants a good puzzle/adventure game.

Even 10 years after its release it is so much fun. Absolutely endless possibilites with what you can do to keep yourself entertained, such as downloading new maps, weapons, gamemodes, and NPC's. I definitely rate this one of my top ten games of all time.
