Just finished this game and as much as certain bosses made me rage the story is original enough to give that a pass. If you want a unique take on an RPG with a vibrant and interesting world I'd highly recommend this game.

This game is amazing. I love that we're all having fun with this and the journos hate that. Cheers to more of this game! Also, the character creator is on another level.

Edit: This game is so good I've been playing it everyday. You should seriously try this game even if it's difficult sometimes.

There are a few bugs with this game in terms of the port of SR1. That being said this is an older game that doesn't hold your hand when it comes to navigation. You will be revisiting old areas in order to progress and if you want to get all achievements I recommend looking up the achievement listing. 9/10 for me.

This game is absolute trash. It's insane this even costs money. Some of the worst combat I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

It's like if God Eater got dropped on it's head and thought it was Dark Souls.

I'm only recommending this game because it's free. That being said it's a gacha so depending on how much you love a certain character depends on how much you're willing to spend.

I actually played this game back when it came out and got relatively far but revisiting it kind of sucks because it's just a rehash for me. The story actually sucks and while it does get better it really is a drag in the first few chapters.

Big ups to Studio III. This is a game meant for real adults wanting something more then campy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Stopped playing Rebirth half way through to give this title a shot and I'm not let down. It's like if Game of Thrones smoked meth and went full throttle to 11.

While there are certain crashes the auto-save feature will save you most of the time. I've never been more invested in a Final Fantasy title as I have been with this. Even the gay character is treated with nuance and respect. Nothing is woke about this. It's gritty, dark and mysterious. If Square-Enix can continue this type of writing and narrative structure they'll easily make a come back.

Keep Nomura and Toriyama out of all future projects and you'll have hit after hit masterpieces.

As much as I'd love to give this a positive review I just can't.

Nomura needs to be fired immediately for his obsession with the multiverse They completely rewrote the parts of the story that added any depth or weight to characters dying or dealing with loss. Sephiroth has been reduced to a walking one-liner and the introduction of characters who never existed before is stupid. (Looking at you Glenn)

Combat would be great if your camera wasn't spinning around constantly as you chase low level enemies who hide in the ground or zip across the field. You're basically playing wack-a-mole half the time. Not only that, all of the mini-games minus Queen's Blood suck. Fort Condor now involves you being sucked into the game as the original chibi FF7 OG models and none ofit makes sense.

Golden Saucer sucks. The only good thing about it is the Haunted Hotel. Costa Del Sol was where the game really shined but after that it was just straight trash. If you're a fan of Ubisoft slop i.e. finding lookout towers that add stuff on the map you can go to which is also just copy and paste garbage this might be fun for you.

My main score for this is 4/10. They ruined the entire story with this installment and once you reach Chapter 9 you'll understand how stupid this game is. If you're a tourist who never played the original you may like this game. Buy it on sale at $20.

This is a fun game with beautiful character design. I don't even really like Marvel and this game has me addicted. Psylocke is a baddy.

This game is absolute trash. Worst purchase in history. MP items are scarce, you can only buy 3 every week or something in GrandTrad and they force you to do these dungeons where you absolutely need to use MP. Story is trite garbage and none of the characters are likeable. If you play on Hard mode you might as well just play on Easy because the difficulty spike is artificial and lazy. Worst Atlus game I've ever played. Don't even buy this game on sale.

This game is incredibly frustrating at point and is definitely not a beginner JRPG. They have a very interesting way at game progression that has use solving puzzles in the for of 'hex placement' on the world map. All of the characters are pretty weird, which I like. Buy this at a discount or if you're looking for something dated and sweet buy at full price if you absolutely can't wait. 7/10 so far.
