Fun little puzzley escape game. Took me about 6 hours to beat, only a few obtuse moments where I just didn't get it. But overall a fun little escape room game, definitely recommend!

Fun little game, looks nice, plays well on my oldish system. Unfortunately I just couldn't get past the AI generated character art. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and investigated into a little. But they never directly address the character art and released a video showcasing how the other art assets in the game are created, but not the character art.

I could easily see myself getting into this game if not for that, it's quite unfortunate.

Absolutely incredible and addictive metroidvania with just enough Dark Souls in it to be spicy, but not burdensome with difficulty. Some of the fights and platforming can get a little hairy, but stick with it, definitely a fun game to dive deep into!

I've had this game since launch and despite all the issues it's had, the game was always fun. Which I think was easy to forget during that initial release. CDPR cares deeply about the games they make and the continued support and update make this yet another in a line of games that maybe were less than stellar on release, but the fans had a hunger for it and the game itself was honestly fun as hell. It's since gotten oodles more stable and each update has gotten it to where we as fans want it to be. With the 2.0 patch I can safely say this is kinda what we all expected/wanted from the initial release.

I hope in the future the lesson learned from this, is that games shouldn't be forced or rushed. They are finished, when they are finished. If that means delays, or no announcements until much later into the development cycle, so be it. It's 2023 and there's no reason for games to continue coming out unfinished, advertised falsely, or putting the talented devs/artists and all the other behind the scenes talent on such a stressful time crunch. Soon as I'm able I will be purchasing Phantom Liberty, but only after I've put in another 60+ hours on this amazing game.

Fun, tactical, lots of variety. Would love to see this formula built upon, but I absolutely adored this game. Gets pretty difficult in the late game, especially if you're trying to kill everything that moves. But it's really enjoyable and has some neat bonus stuff objectives and perfectionist stuff to give it replayability if you're into that sorta thing.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this game to anyone until it is somewhat feature complete...and at this point, seems like that'll never happen. I had my enjoyment out of it, but I did so thinking there would be proper post launch support and content...and communication. So far theres been just barely enough patching to get the game working for people. Some of whom still can't run the game AFAIK. Damn shame, cause theres a beautiful game in there, it's just hidden under 18 quintillion layers of generic garbage.

Edit: So nearly 2 years later the game left early access. It's pretty neat right, I suggest you give it a try especially if it's on sale.

Games first bit of actual score is David Bowie, immediate 10/10.

Haven't put anywhere near as much time into this as it deserves, but it's a very fun game that gives me great joy every time I do happen to start it up and play. Very cool game for someone thats fairly new to this genre of game with some awesome tech support and customer service behind the great the player base.

This game looks gorgeous, runs amazing and plays great. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this game. As a long time Metal Gear Solid fan I'm incredibly happy to finally have another game in the series on PC, especially this most recent entry in the series which introduces a level of detail and gameplay that has never before been in the series. Just in the first hour I attempted several ways of infiltrating the enemy compound and found each experience unique in and of itself, before finally settling in and making my way in as stealthily and deadly as possible. Which is so far proving just as an enjoyable as the other methods. I can't wait to get to the alternate mission objectives and camp layout types to explore the depth of this short taste of whats to come in The Phantom Pain.

I 100% unequivocally recommend anyone that is a fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, or a fan of fun stealth/action games with a nice sense of humor to give this game a try. It's well worth the sale price and even at $19.99 it's still a worthwhile purchase. Not only will you get a stunning looking game, but a incredibly well directed and voice acted piece of gameplay dense with systems to toy with that runs spectacularly upon install. Which is sadly a rarity these days. I can't wait to put some more hours into this and anxiously await the release of The Phantom Pain next year.
