Hades game is pretty good

Delightfully old school. Feels like it picks up right where those 2D Castlevanias left off, ignoring things indie Metroidvanias brought to the table during its absence. But that's kind of the point and serves as a nice tribute to that series specifically.

Best free game 2017

Never knew I'd want social links in my third person shooter. Not just how well you respond to your teammates, your performance also affects your relationship with them, which affects certain events in the game.

The theme and gameplay remind me a lot of Vanquish. It feels like a lesser version of Vanquish.
The party, upgrade and shop systems remind me a lot of FFXIII. It feels like a better version of FFXIII.

Very linear, hardly any replayability, but I thought it was a fun ride. There are only three missions. But all of them are quite long. Finished it at almost exactly 10 hours. Coming off from Battlefront II, I thought this game is much better in terms of presentation, especially concerning the first person view. The audio and visual effects in this one just feel more "real". I also like the strategy aspect of it. Fights were as much as a test of how well you issue orders as it is a test of your ability to shoot things. Though I found that it was really easy to just run and knife scores of enemies so long as there isn't a "heavy" thrown into the mix.

The ending sequence was pretty anti-climactic. The endings for the first two missions were harder and more tense.

Fast-paced & challenging platformer with a funny story and narration.

Love this game's art style and Red's character design. It's like me and whoever's responsible for the game's visuals have very similar tastes.
Very in-depth combat system that allows for tons of customization.

Bumped into something and got propelled out of the game map where I could see both the skybox and a hidden space area.

Had to repeat the final boss in Sonic's story almost 20 times because the very last hit doesn't register, causing Sonic to go past the ledge and fall to his death.

It's like a playable version of those Madness Combat cartoons on Newgrounds.
